Did they bolt right in? Any sizing issues? Do they sit higher or lower than OEM? Any more pics?

Dill a well needed oil change, installed front and rear braided brake lines, and used a wire wheel to clear off the frame and rear axle to be repainted.

I need to do this... My poor runner spends 4 months a year in Calgary and the other 8 in Thunder Bay...

Aisin Timing belt and water pump kit installed today. Toyota thermostat, new Toyota plugs and NGK wires, Toyota red coolant flush and brake fluid flushed.

So much smoother...had the original plugs...

I took her to the junk yard.....and had her carry all her new bits and pieces home. She's slowing turning into a 1999 Runner.

Its hard to say how they sit compared to stock because of how bad my seats were. They bolt in with the corbreau 4runner brackets but it does require a bit of finessing to bend the existing seat belt receptacle thing to fit on these. Ill take some more pics tomorrow when its light out, including the brackets.

I did end up removing my underseat heater thing for the rear passengers because it makes fitting the passenger seat hard, i live in texas so its never that cold, and it looks like an issue waiting to happen spewing coolant all over my floor or something similar.

Installed Poly steering rack bushings and coolant flush. Looks like i'll be fabricating a rear tire carrier when I get my AOR bumpers, I have my spare on the basket, but have about 2" of clearance on my garage door. Won't work when I get an OME lift here in a few weeks... Anyone have advice on hinges/latches for a swing-out rear tire carrier?

Installed new black housing headlights today. I was surprised when they came in and found they were made with actual glass and not plastic. I took the filler pieces out from under the headlights and thinking about getting amber LED bars to put in the void for turn signals.

Finished the passenger side, now fighting the drivers side upper ball joints, lower ball joints andcswapping out my outer tie rods again.

I guess either I screwed up or the online store screwed up and I ended up receiving lower ball joints for a Taco. They bolt up and look the same but the taco runs a larger tapered shaft on the end of the tie rod so had to run back to the parts store to grab a set of outers for a Taco.

If anyone was wondering the Taco Outer tie rod is lafer and "looks" stronger. After doing some reading it looks like this might be an upgrade, but there was some debate on wether it helped or not so I'm just throwing the option out there for you guys!

You will have a worse turning radius with the Tacoma set up. Not sure if you need the tacoma inner tie rods as well or not.

CV Axle

I'd recommend a set of 6 ton jack stands. You can get them for ~$30 at advanced auto after using online coupons. Much safer than that tiny jackstand and a 4x4 block of wood.
