This old number, the Hilux 167 snorkel that I let sit on a shelf for the last two years. It wasn't the most enjoyable mod I've done :blah:
On but not connected in the fender. Little did I know that I'd be doing that with a flash light 2 hours after this pic, because that task sucks.
Connected. Sealed. Solid. Works. Would prefer never do again so I'm pretty nervous about the wire I used to prevent the tube from collapsing being inadequate

did you check to make sure you can get at that drain with the nosecone installed. I did mine on top so that it was easy to get to and Just use a syringe.

That is a good question. I will ask in the forum when I get my post count high enough.
At around 430 000 kms it started going further and further on a tank. I have owned it for almost 200 000 kms now and a 300 mile tank on the highway was normal. Now normal is about 430 miles. Maybe the engine is finally breaking in? :-O

Oh wait, I just can't take a picture correctly, it's upside down, whew. Had my heart racing there for a minute.
I have them to. Checkout my build. Only issue is I wish it had a safety lock on the tire swing out.

A few things checked off the list
Finished some stuff up this weekend...
1) Pulled EFI (since I'm a new owner of the vehicle. We'll see if I can notice any difference as it "learns" my driving style...also unhooked battery at same time per protocol.)
2) Reorganized and rerouted some in-line fuse holders, cleaned up battery, put belt conditioner on all belts.
3) Added my Mack Dog mojo. Didn't have it in me to drill the hood but found a way around it.
4) Replaced the baja lights with an LED bar. Baja's looked the period but after an offroad excursion I found them lacking compared to the LED's I had on my previous rig.
5) Plastidipped the front grille. It was my first time dipping anything (other than copenhagen back in high school which I recall did not go well.) But this came out okay. We'll see how it holds up. I did 5 pretty thick coats.
6) Figured out a way to hold my phone where I can see it (in sight line) for safety and to keep my GPS in front of my face. Routed lightning cable up through dash so I can charge it (plus sounds better plugged in than over BT.) I don't have great pics of this but I used some really small bolts at an angle in there between the dash to secure it well.
7) Took a Sunday drive in God's creation up over the "highest road in North America" with the family. Didn't allow kids any electronic devices and forced them to listen to Johnny Cash the entire way so as to properly supplement their musical education.
