It's called Hella Suptertones. They are big with the subie crowd. Easy install. Just plug in with the old wire, and ground the other post. I'll post a video here.

Officially have everything for my dual battery install. I got the IBS dual battery kit, a battery tray from Colombia overland, a bluesea fuse block, and an oddessy deep cycle battery. That will be my project tomorrow. I also have to get my scangauge and dash cam installed. Next weekend I'll do my ham radio install.

New outer/inner tie rods (original with 217,000), new lower ball joints (recall done at 115,000 miles), new Toyo Open Country AT2 275/65/18 on V8 18" 4Runner rims, 1.25" spacers.All parts OEM.

That was the finished product. Sorry no pics of the repair. It was done as a preventative measure. All parts were just fine.

Pulled the factory "skid plate" to clean and patch a rust hole, oil change, and replaced the muffler. Never thought 4 bolts could be so stubborn. Had to cut the rear two off.
Threw a coat of paint on the plate as well.....
On to tie rods, LBJs and steering bushings....

It seems worth it to spend the extra 5 minutes to wire up the relay and get power from the battery. The single one I had on my motorcycle hooked to the stock wiring was adequate, but I've made people jump with how I've got mine wired now.

Painted my wheels and fixed my ABS connector.
So heres my truck at my shop on the rack. I painted my stock rims matte black and did a matte clear coat. They look freaking amazing. :dance:
At least a lot better than the stock look. Even painted my center caps. Whole process took me about 5 hours and was worth it.
Even fixed my ABS connector on my passenger side.
You can see my dad on the other side. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of him doing the repair lol.

Spent most of the day working on mine and a buddy's trucks. Did his first. Trans cooler, o2 sensors - well, attempted to. After pulling the old ones out, we realized that they sent the wrong parts. Had to put the original ones back in - and steering rack bushings.
When we finished his truck, we did the steering rack bushings on mine, and finally installed the diff drop kit that I've had in a box for over a year...

Well that's encouraging if you did/attempted all of that in one day. Been wondering how much I'll manage to screw up steering rack bushings... they've been sitting in storage for like a year and a half
