CS144 alternator upgrade. Super easy, took a little over an hour from start to finish using wire adapter. Existing belt worked fine. From 80 amps to 140 amps.

You can get the plug and play adapter from ebay and a few other places, no need to splice wires, all you need is the adapter and a few washers to make a spacer. Alternator is from a 95 Cadillac Deville, paid $125 for alternator and $25 for the adapter.

i have a set of poly pro steering rack bushings that im waiting to install, might as well do the LCA bushings while im in there
ill give them a call. im about 35 miles east of dallas, but it would be worth the drive if prices are that good

What rack is that?
2002 T4R 3" Rough Country suspension lift, K&N intake, Method Race wheels, 33" Mickey Thompson Mud Terrain, Savage off-road front winch bumper, Warn 9000lb winch, CBI ditch light brackets, KC ditch lights.
last weekend just install new Bilstein 5100 all around with OME 906 on back and tall 99's on front on 2nd groove, Energy Suspension bushings on sway bar & links.
Few weeks back new KO2 275/70R16 on MOTO METAL M0951 16x9" wheels.
Few months back SC.
This truck now start looking and drive "correctly"

Hammered black, or hammered silver?
Been finishing up throwing the primer on my Savage skids. The weather here has not been cooperating with my desire to knock this painting out outside. I have been getting it done in the garage though. Between the rain and cold it is far from ideal painting conditions.
I think I might hit the finish tomorrow. I am on the fence about the color. I have hammered black and that would match the sliders, but I could also go hammered silver. I suppose one argument for going silver would be that a non black color might make it easier to identify fluid leaks. [MENTION=88391]NateMob[/MENTION] had a pretty sweet looking 4runner with silver Savage skids. Black looks solid too though.
What say ye?

That's another benefit of the silver I suppose. Nothing but rust streaks post contact.
And if for whatever reason I decided that I didn't like it aesthetically, I don't see why I couldn't just throw a coat or two of the black on the bottoms and leave the tops silver.

New front lower bushings, cam adjusters, steering rack bushings, getting new tires, alignment, and inner tie rod ends.

Replaced climate control backlight leds, fuel filter, and checked out the factory fogs that haven't worked since I got the 4runner. One side had only 1 screw holding the cover on, thus lots of moisture has gotten in and badly corroded things. Other side doesn't work even with a new bulb.
I didn't check to see if I was getting power. Might just end up going with something aftermarket.
Tried to program my replacement keyless remotes but no luck. Erased all remotes, then tried to add new but just kept getting 2 lock cycles indicating it had failed.
