It fell off about 4 years ago and I only just got around to it. I have weathertechs so it was sort of pointless. I used shoe goo which seems to have worked well.

Did the rear diff fluid and took off the running boards to prep for a trip to Moab this weekend. Was going to do the tcase fluid too but when I got under there I was met with a big empty hole where there should have been a fill plug....

Yes it does, well the model that is $10 more than the base model does, but it only works with the 4runners that have that ability from factory, I think 99-02

When I spoke to Icon a few weeks ago they said the same thing. I am slightly concerned that they haven't corrected it and I wonder why. I have a few thoughts on it but I keep to myself..haha

I just checked the sheet they sent with the shocks and it does say 0-3". I also am curious about why they have not changed it on the website though...not like it would take much effort.



Tonight I was able to get some more work done on the suspension. I reinstalled the sway bar with the new bushings, the CV axles, passenger side UCA and spindle, and tied it all together with a new LBJ! Pretty good night for the time doing it with just work lights. I wanted to install the reservoir brackets, but I think Icon sent the wrong hardware. The holes they say to use are way undersized for the 3/8" bolts that were sent. I will have to call them and see what the deal is with that.

If I remember correctly you need to drill the hole slightly to bigger size then use impact to attach the bracket with the bolt supplied.

They are indeed! I went with the ones meant for the 4Runner. I spoke with an Icon rep since I was concerned about that as well, but they assured me that the website was incorrect and the are meant for 0-3" of lift. Hopefully that is true!

Got some front end work taken care of.

1/3 repair: CV axles replaced (OEM) and rebooted
1/3 preventative maintenance: replaced LBJs (OEM)
1/3 mods: Total Chaos UCAs installed

Only got one crappy "after" pic of the UCA:

Did some nit picky stuff.

p/n is 90480-15028 if yours is broke too.

Replaced denso air filter

Replaced a couple vacuum hoses. No more zip ties.

I ordered the hoses from Toyota, made in Japan, because I'm anal like that. And nowhere seems to sell metric hose that fits perfect. The Toyota one actually has different diameters on each end.

Also re-tensioned the accelerator cable.

That's what I'm thinking, but it is weird that they have not fixed it.

I'll be using my old Superflexes for now and figure out whether or not they will be the right fit. No point in buying new coils yet.
