Lol. I'd say, it was about $700 give take.... I couldn't imagine this work being done at a shop! I saved money on LCA bushings by finding a good deal on eBay for OEM ones. And I saved money on ordering 2 used cam adjuster bolt sets from eBay for like $20 for both. And I only needed to cut one. So I only ruined one. But I put in the 2 new/used ones in anyways. And in the process, I messed up by trying to strap the front end and pinching my OEM barely used LBJ. Thus pushing the grease out. So I ordered another brand new OEM LBJ. Just one. And the other old one will be a back up incase I break one on trail.

Upgraded the cargo and main cabin lights to LEDs and did the final instal of my 1st gen roll bar. Very happy with the final result. Now time to sell the cargo/privacy cover and my weathertech cargo mat.

Next step will be finding a suitable fire extinguisher to mount to it.

Awesome. Yeah my Dad's Girlfriend has friend who just got back from Steens Mountain area and said they still had a ton of snow. We are okay with the snow and we are going to attempt to get as far as we can up the roads over there. I cross the pass towards sister a few times and we did a run just a few weeks ago and ran into close to 3' of snow at just 3,000' of elevation was just insane how much we have gotten. Really looking forward to when school gets out so I can take my son out camping.

I will say I did route 3 last year and about 6500' in elevation (not in the shade or anything on the top of the mountain area), We ran into about 3 miles of snow 5-7' deep. It was 80F and was so much fun till it took 4 hours to go 1/4 mile. We eneded up camping and getting up at 4am. The snow got enough cold (got to 38F that night) so we actually crawled RIGHT up on top of the snow and drove out the last few miles.

To run your 35's you finished your body lift right?

PS - I'm so GLAD we got this snow to get past this lack of water for the last few years.

Yup - got the body lift on. If I had to do it again I would probably get the 1.5 inch instead of the 1

Put my summer tires back on. Michelin LT but more of a HT tread and just about wore out on aluminum. The ride difference was very noticeable (better) than the KO2's on steel with my new suspension (4 runner 5100's 880/906 springs). That might be the solution to my sharp harsh ride....softer/thinner side walls. Will have to get it out on the wash board and rough roads to really check.

Got my bumpers from RPM Fab in Tempe Az finished up today. This is a new design they are introducing for the 3rd Gen 4Runners. After looking at a lot of rigs, and following some links on here in the bumper thread, There were not a lot of matching front and rear bumper still in production.

Originally when I talked to Don, I was looking at just a swing out spare tire spare time carrier, but during a visit to their shop, he showed my a dual swing out option with a ladder and a spare tire carrier. I found out today, that the production units will be modular, so customers can pick what they want.

I am pretty stoked...I wish the pics showed a better job of the workmanship, I was saving up for a supercharger, but am glad I opted to get these done. Now to start saving again for a supercharger!!

Any chance you could post some photos of the bumper from straight out front, and slightly further away? I'm trying to decide between this bumper and Relentless's front bumper, but there are almost no photos of the RPM one since it's so new.

not so much 3rd gen but still...

picked up a set of TRED recovery pads from ebay for $140 shipped!!!! every where else they go $180. To me thats a steal! Only down side was i could not choose my own color. no big deal.



Thus completing my 4 set!


Picked up this 5 gallon water tank at dicks. for ... $20. If you ask em, way cheaper then rotopax!! fill it up with clean drinkable water and you have enough to brush your teeth, rinse your hands/face and drink water!




Then i bot a weber grill for $60

Yup its 3D printed. I have the template made for it so it wouldn't be to hard to design one for a scan gauge if I can get one to model it or the exact dimensions.

Picked up a Motive Power Bleeder this week, installed my Wheelers rear braided line and bleed the brakes. Made a noticeable different so far, but will have to get in some more miles to see.

Not a big deal, but I replaced a 921 3rd brake light bulb and also swamped in some Sylvania Silverstar Ultras... Was running one factory '96 bulb and one Hella 55w/100w for a while now...
