Picked up my 97 a little brother. 2000 Highlander edition, 5 speed. Has 177k, sadly no locker:nono: But super super clean. Have all the records since new, even came with the original window sticker.

What is that giant welt on the passenger dash?
I should have pictured everything my dad bought me for our overland trips as a late Birthday present to me. A year or so ago I picked up some MAXSA(MaxxTraxx alternative) on amazon for like 168 and now they are 114, haha. I need two more so maybe I can beg dad to buy 2 more for me. But he did just get me a new stove(bbq/grill combo), a Tent and a few other items to help me. Couldn't be happier since it will help me get out with my son in the summer and the overlanding trips.
But awesome all the stuff
What made you decide to go with those tracks?

A peeling dash pad. My guess is it's someone's foot rested on road trips.

That's my plan as well. I think it's common spot for them to split. My 97 has a crack in the same spot.

Got impatient waiting on the SRQ drl so I did my own with some lights I already had.
Used these, really bright but wouldn't recommend as I had to grind them down to fit. They put out a good amount of usable light as well. Wired them with an add a fuse to the heated seat circuit with powers on with the key.

Tundra brake upgrade broke my brake line as I anticipated, so I had to replace that, too. Dust shield was also shot, but I wasn't nearly ambitious enough to tackle that so it stayed.
