Began the trip into the 35 club. Toyo Open MT 35x12.50x17 and Method 101 beadlock. Using it to mock up the rear leafs for now, because holy hell they are expensive...

Trying to replace or fix the spring in the rear wipe because the blade wont make contact at the top of the window. The nut was badly corroded but I got it off with a dremel and vice grips. But the arm wont come off! There is some sort of mineral deposit corroding it to the bolt.

I have a denso replacement fan clutch I have yet to install. Which fan and clutch did you use in the picture? also could you provide a link? did you just replace it as preventative maintenance?

Preventative maintenance. Bought them on Amazon, Aisin brand.

Installed Airlift 1000 in rear coils, used hole for running boards to mount the tip. Capped the tip with Anki car tire pressure monitor valve stem caps sensor indicator.

Today's haul. Center console upgrade with all mounting plates, brake handle, rear heat piping and overhead console upgrade with wiring with a digital climate rear view mirror. All for $40. [emoji12] happy camper.

Scepter 5 gallon jerry can ordered.

I just ordered one of these on ebay. I wanted a non-metallic jerry can. Now I need to source a spout.

Whoever decided to put that upper motor mount bolt there....grrrrrrr!
Right mount done other than tighten bolts, left most of the way out. Not hard, just tight quarters and stupid angles, especially the left with all the junk in there.

Doing lots of stuff after the CO/UT trip....rehab.

Swapped out the mirror with one that I got used. My old one's motor was broken and I was tired of leaning over to use the mirror. The "new" one was only $70 shipped (new costs $250+). Unfortunately, it is in a bit worse shape than the other one I had on there and it is a matte black instead of the stock glossy black but it will do. I will probably tear apart the old one to see if I can swap the motors over. It might look rough but the rest of the black paint on my truck is also in bad shape!

Yes, you can swap housings. The 3 screws are annoying (I changed out for allen head bolts) but it shouldn't otherwise be too bad.
Some pics....it was a heated mirror upgrade so the electrical parts won't apply, but some pics of the internals may be of some use

After installing my bumper I temporarily ziptied on my signals. I removed them yesterday and instead wired my turns into my corner lights, swapped to an electronic flasher so I don't get hyper flash and good to go. Then took it camping with my buddy who just got a '97.

Re-torqued the seat bolts, 27 ft/lb front, 13 ft/lb rear. Only the driver seat was loose.

Packed it for a 6,000+ mile trip from PA to Colorado for my S212 Chainsaw Certification Course and then onwards up to Grand Teton National Park for the solar eclipse and adventure time!

Wish me luck, hopefully the truck runs like I think it will!
