If I hadn't already destroyed the liner I may have been able to cover it. Not sure how I would have secured the inside part and keep it away from the tire.

Post wheeling rub buzz delete. Pinch weld plastic liner got pulled out of place this weekend. Nothing the tin snips of doom can't handle. I love these things. They cut through everything. Fuel hose, trans hose, thick plastic, wire, metal.... It's like Honey Badger!

Since I already had another set of stock headlights, it cost $350 for the entire kit. Compared to others, it was pretty pricey, but I don't think other companies could match the quality and thought they seem to put into it...but I could be wrong.

Did you get a chance to talk to him at all? He's a great dude. Ran a good portion of the WABDR with us a few years back and is very active in the community down around Portland. [MENTION=142712]bennett707[/MENTION] is his name here. More active on Tacomaworld. As is everyone else.

So I was getting horrible gas mileage, like REALLY bad, and I had some stuttering and hesitation around 25-40 MPH. I replaced the mass airflow sensor, which did not give me a check engine light or a reading code from a diagnostic test. I changed it anyway. I also changed my plugs and plug wires, and cleaned my air filter, sprayed out the air intake, and cleaned the throttle body out real good. I also sprayed my sensors with some sensor spray. After all that, I am pretty sure my gas mileage has doubled. Maybe not actually doubled, but damn, it's waaayyy better. And the hesitation is gone. Runs like it's brand new, I'm lovin it! If you want details on how I did any of this, feel free to ask. I have a 99 SR5 3.4 V6
This week:
With the help of you all this past month I have done the following:
Flushed coolant
Full transmission drain and refill through return line (16quarts)
Bilstein 5100 front and rear with Daystar 1.5 rear spacer
New upper and lower OEM ball joints
New OEM inner/outer TREs
New front pads/rotors
New Kenwood radio
New 3D printed cup holder
2017 SR5 rims with Falken 265/70r17 (no rubbing)
Thanks for all the help. Couldn't have don't it without this site! Here it is as of now. Still have a few things to do but I'm almost done. Not bad for 20 years old and 243000 miles!

Oh yea, we spent quite a bit of time together. Great guy. We were taking pics of both IJM's with SC's parked next to each other. It must be a PNW thing. haha [MENTION=63700]Rcastle[/MENTION] also has an IJM with an SC. Three in the same area. I look forward to hitting a few of the trails down here with him.
Hard to believe it was a catastrophic failure on a crankshaft on these motors. I saw the picture and I think it was right around the journal. Not sure what caused it after just 5K miles on the rebuild. A bit befuzzled.

Since I am an East Coast guy you can't leave me in the dark on what happened to the engine, especially after Alex rebuilt the top end.....:cry2:

Indeed Sir. Nice observation, Spidertrax 1.25" black. Some slight rubbing with stock suspension but intend to lift soon.
