Vibration might have some effect, but these things live in the middle of a stinkin' engine. Vibration goes with the territory and I'm not sure off-roading adds that much once you get through the engine mounts and suspension. Water? It has to get really high, the coils are hot in use, and they are pretty well sealed as themselvees, as well as the holes they sit on. Octane's point about the springs is noted, but I just don't see how with engine running that can happen. You stall and flood, then yeah, but it's a lesser problem than a lot of others at that point. I slobber that spring with di-electric grease every plug change (30k) the last 17 years so my factory coils are are bright and pristine.
Heat is the one real enemy to fear (as with any electric component). You run these for hours in the desert all the time and you might eat them up.

No pictures to post though. My computer is getting worked on at school so I’ll have to wait till that’s fixed to post some pictures though.
I haven’t driven it but 10 miles to make sure everything feels right. I’m getting an alignment tomorrow so I’ll drive it a bit more to see how it is. Can’t wait to get it off-road and really compare. But I can tell a difference for sure, in a good way. I also have a little more lift with a lot less preload which is really nice too.

I haven't done anything with my rig lately. The wife has me to busy around the house but those projects are almost over. Just in time for the first big snow of the year. Calling for 2-3 feet at 10,000 so that's gonna shut down most of the good trails around me. Time for chains I guess. lol

I went shopping!
Ordered a new bottom seat leather from fleabay... we'll see how that goes.
Ordered some Blue Sea breakers and sub panels to finally install my Ripcord fuse box platform off of Amazon as well as a heated seat kit to install in the seats (my better half's only main complaint is that the runner doesn't have heated seats like the other truck does... we'll fix that!)
And I put in an Amayana order. It's finally time to do valve cover gaskets and associated baubles.
All in all I believe it was a ~$500 or so shopping day.
Still cheaper (and NICER) than a payment!

Finally got my alignment where it needs to be, got the new Treadwright Guard Dog 285/75/16's mounted!!! First shakedown run is gonna be at Windrock Park in East TN this weekend if anyone is gonna be around!

Funny enough, my wife specifically doesn't like heated seats. They make her need to poo! :toilet: :yuck:
