Nice going to the Rigids.
I did the same thing but i had a bigger hole to deal with so i was able to fit the entire Pod in the hole.. The idea of all of the light not being used would've driven me crazy.
Were you able to use the Rigid harness or no?

I cleaned, rust killed, primed and started the paint on my ELocker axle. Red is just what I had around to brush on. I’m going to paint it satin black, but so many places that dripping paint in worked best.

Finally got around to installing my Denso radiator and trans temp gauge.

Finished wiring up my twin ARB compressor and added a 500 amp fuse for the winch. When I originally installed my compressor, Amazon had sent me the wrong fuse holder for my mega fuse. So I got that all squared away. I also put some grease into my SPC UCAs.

Changed the Timing Belt (and all the stuff that goes with it)! Purrs like a kitten now. Valve cover gaskets are next on the agenda.

Not mine, per se, but I convinced my dad to get in the 3rd gen game. It's his first Toyota truck, he is looking forward to it having a suspension that isn't riding on bump stops, so he's ordering Moog tall springs and Bilstein 4600s all around. It's just going to be a DD, nothing crazy. It's an 02 in great shape, with 223k, price was excellent was too good to pass up.

Finally got around to installing the e-locker rear end! All I have left is to bleed brakes and and diff fluid and she'll be on the road tomorrow... and offroad quickly after that!

That being said, anyone need a perfectly good working open diff rear axle?

Installed a set of 4WD tall coils on my truck today along with a set of reflex shocks the springs came mounted on. Meh.

They dropped my front end by about a half inch and the ride is a bit soupy for my taste. My stock 2WD coils and 1" spacers felt better, TBH.

Weighted my bumper with 60# temporarily to emulate a bumper mounted winch which dropped the front end another 1/4"

Rewired my factory fog lights and installed the vent visors. Got the in channel ones new in the package for 30 bucks off cl. Subs, amp, and auto start/alarm this week

I replaced the OEM fog lights with light pods. I was given two Rigid Industries 2x2 light pods, and they fit perfectly in the OEM brackets. It is amazing how everything went together perfectly and I am surprised at how well everything looks. The lights are probably brighter than any purpose-built fog lights or OEM replacements. You can wire it up nicely, and the best thing is that you don't have to add switches on the inside of the car, the normal fog light switch still works. Highly recommended.

Did you cut the stock connector off the factory fog and solder to the LED?

Did you fab those brackets? They look good but lonely without paint :hello:

Yes, I did cut the connectors off of the OEM fog lights, but I did not solder, I just esed the little crimping connector things and taped them up real good. The brackets are the original brackets off of the OEM fog lights, they fit my pods perfectly, but the unpainted part you are seeing is where I ground off a stub that had an adjuster that was to be used to adjust the angle of the original fog lights.

What do you mean by harness? If you mean wiring harness (i probably sound stupid right now, but a wiring harness is a thing, right?) then the answer is no- I spliced the wires that were coming out of the Rigid light directly to the wire that I cut off of the original light. If you mean bracket, the answer is also no- I used the stock bracket, it is a miracle that it fits, right?!? After a trip to Lowes, I got some hardware that fit all the way through the light pod and bracket to hold everything together. Do you have any suggestions on waterproofing?

Ah, nice bracket mod, but bro, solder and heat shrink that connection, it sees a ton of weather down there even behind the valence.
