Bought just about everything for a complete front end and partial rear suspension refresh:
Bilstein 5100 struts (x4)
OME 890 rear springs
Tundra TRD Front coils
Front upper ball joints
Front lower ball joints
Steering end links
Need to buy: PLEASE HELP!!
Front upper and lower control arm bushings
Rear upper and lower control arm bushings (or aftermarket arms???)
hopefully going to install this Wednesday!

UCA bushings, might be cheaper to replace the entire UCA (according to some here) but I've not done mine yet.

went on some back roads last night that I should not have been on.
why not be on them ?
Well this time of year they should have near 4-6 foot of snow on them and not usable.
right now they have maybe an inch or two, the ski bowl near me has only 19 inches of snow and lots of big exposed boulders ( Hoodoo)
today I'm going to go hit some more trails, that again are usually closed in winter.
In my park, I have almost no show, should have at least 3-4 this time of year, if not more ( past winter we stopped measuring at 6 feet)
if we don't start getting some serious snow soon the valley will be hurting this year with lack of snow melt for the streams, rivers and lakes.
plus I rack up serious overtime keeping the park open when it snows.......my play money

No. Just been car pooling with wife and driving her Tacoma. Better gas mileage and power. Only took the 4runner wheeling few times this summer. She needs more love.

Swapped the dead E-locker motor out for my good spare. Got a functioning rear locker again, yay!
Anybody have a recommendation who to send the dead one to for a rebuild? Or do I have to do that myself. I have terrible luck with electric motors so I'd be just as happy paying a shop a reasonable fee to have it gone through.

If you do pull it apart be aware of the 2 small springs and 2 very small balls (some are a little different) that will want to come flying out. If the magnets have broken free also be very aware of what order those magnets come out- they have to go in the same way because polarity.

Be aware, this is the first time I've pulled one apart. Symptoms were the motor housing would get warm when activated but it wouldn't lock or unlock.

Oil leak in process of being repaired.
Sent her in to a trusted mechanic for a mysterious oil leak that appeared two weeks after we bought her and has been getting worse over the last couple of weeks... It wasn't the oil pan, valve cover gaskets or oil filter but the cross-member that sits under the engine looks very shiny (probably oil).
Hopefully she's fixed up tomorrow when I go pick her up!

Well we were supposed to do the entire front and rear suspension lift + a 1" body lift and wheel spacers yesterday, but unfortunately I didn't check the UCAs carefully and we realized they were for a later model 4Runner :mad2: So we did the bro stuff only - wheel spacers and body lift hahaha! Then today I went and had a magnaflow exhaust installed by my dudes here in Vegas at Best Muffler Shop. We did a spare and hitch delete - I'm not going to be towing anything with this truck and the spare is going to be too big to carry underneath - plus more clearance. Spare will get ratcheted down in the back until I get a rear tire carrier. Hopefully pics to come this weekend of the suspension lift.

thanks to someone on this forum, gave me the idea for the perfect spot for the AFR gauge. this is just the perfect spot for a gauge.

i also installed some LED dome lights; it makes such a huge difference.
i've got all the pieces now for swapping in a 2002 airbox/AFM, if it warms up some later this week, i'll have that in.
