Damn dude, new fuel pump? Was it original and finally died at 363k?
For door lock lube, you just inserted a spray tube in the lock from outside the door, or you mean from the inside and taking off interior panel?
Your skids look super clean. No oil or gunk buildup?

I did not take the doors apart, just sprayed in the locks, and put synthetic lube on the locking mechanisms that hit the door pillar, and lubed all the hinges of doors, trunk and hood

Winter finally showed up in Baltimore, on the first day of spring, lol.
Not an epic snowfall by most standards, but 8" was enough to shut down the B-mo metro area. Silly libs in their prius's that run the gov't make those decisions..
I enjoyed driving around the back roads for a few hours, I found plenty of un plowed roads where neighbors were helping each other to move snow w/ tractors/snow blowers. I was amazed at how well the AWD works in mulit-mode. I never fought the truck, I just went slow and it went where I steered.
I did manage to slide off of the driveway and into the ditch at the kennel where I volunteer with a pit rescue. No worries, I literally hit low range, locked the rear diffy and drove right out of the mess like it wasn't even there. I like this old truck !

I just did a ton of work on my rig yesterday, only to notice, oh that's why I have a slight wobble at times.
lower control arm bushings.....oh well maybe next pay check I can muster up the time and money

Replaced the bushings in the shifter.
Then sat by the pool drinking a cold beverage.

Good on you for helping out the pups ! I do the same at the boxer rescue.

New aux roof rack reverse lights, smoked led taillights, and re-dipped the emblems!
Saturday, I was at the local pick-n-save looking through a green ‘00 and got a trailer light hitch plug, like-new factory jack, and cargo net. Went back to see if I missed anything and next thing I know, I’m looking at the backside of an iPhone 7+!
It was sitting between the passenger seat and console.
Long story short.. brought it home, powered it on, and it was completely unlocked with everything still on it; apps, contacts, pictures... and no cracks/damage.
I contacted the owner and was able to give it back a few days ago.
The story was he and two brother-in-laws went night fishing thanksgiving evening last year when the driver swerved to avoid a deer, went down a hill and ended up in trees. The next morning the guy woke up with his seatbelt on and didn’t know where he was, walked up the hill and flagged someone down. The impact knocked him unconscious until the next morning, another passenger (wearing seatbelt) was messed up pretty bad and broke his femur, and the third (no seatbelt) died on impact.
One thing he emphasized multiple times was always wear your seatbelt. That and the 4Runner saved his life.

I was reading with trepidation until I saw this last part. Good man, good Karma awaits you!
I bought my 3rd Gen 4Runner today! It’s a 1999 Limited. The color is kind of off-white (not sure what it’s actually called) with silver flares and cladding and a tan leather interior. It has 146,000 miles and almost ZERO rust which is nearly unheard of for a ~20 year old car up here in New England as I’m sure many of you know.
Hoping to get some pictures taken and posted this weekend. So happy to be able to participate here after months of lurking jealously in the shadows!

Which style LED’s did you go with for the instrument cluster? I feel like mine have gotten dimmer over time with the knob turned all the way up since I put LED’s in it a while back and it could use a refreshing!
I used the #24 Cool White 6500K LEDs from superbrightleds.com

Last weekend I removed the broken antenna and replaced it with a new OEM whip and mast. Here's a link for the one I ordered on Amazon. It was $35 shipped, so I should have done this when I bought the 4Runner a few years ago.

Yeah me too. Been a really interesting last few weeks to say the least.
Thank you for the input on the tires but I'm going away from the AT style and will be going to a MT, now just trying to see which of the 3 I can't decide between. STT Cooper PRO/BFG MT KM2/Wrangler MTR/w Kevlar. So I will say currently at 50k miles on my duratrac's and they are easily only 50% tread. So here is my reason's for these new tires choices. The guy's I normally run with all run MT tires, do better than myself for the most part and they clear out the tread - this is one of the most frustrating parts of my tires. They fill up and don't clear out minus the area's my dad custom cut the outside area's. But I will say that they are wearing good..............

How many did you order to do all of that? My dash lights have been dimming in and out for a few weeks now and have been wanting to do this.
