First Mod. to my 99.

Got my BM transmission cooler today for my 99’ LTD. my mechanic will be installing the trans. cooler and replacing the lower ball joints at the same time. This is my first Mod to this 99’ Runner! Vance.

I made the news... Sort of. Before we learned that he was terrorizing the neighborhood with multiple break-ins, I saw him twice on my security cameras before going to forcefully show him off my property.

I saw him close to my rig and was like OH HELL NO!!!!

the 115v button/switch and the panel came from a Matrix?... what year?

I pulled the button/ switch/ panel combo from the dash, the inverter from under the driver's seat and the relay from the glovebox area out of an '06 Matrix (Pontiac Vibe is same) at the U-Pic-A-Part.
If you pull up a pic of it you can see the panel needed a bit of talking to to shape it for the spot I'm putting it.

A caveat: This is only a 100w inverter, not a lot of juice, not even a few cups of coffee.

interestingly enough, I was waling around the junk yard and happened to see a matrix out of the corner of my eye, I opened the drivers side door and there was the same thing you pulled. talk about timing!! so I grabbed it too...

how do you plan to wire it up? I grabbed the switches and the pigtails.

You'll need the/a relay too

I'll likely be using the start battery aux fuse block.

Added a trans cooler, Magnafine filter, and a sending unit for the gauge I installed in that void space in the dash. Also got the new single DIN stereo and the space for the Scangauge. Put air pressure gauge also for the compressor and 3 gallon tank but that will have to wait. Also put a fuse block in for some accessories.
Finally mounted the new shoes I got last year; 31'' KO@ AT's
So much easier doing tires with a cordless impact !
Time for some beers !!!

made it to Fairbanks Alaska from Scio Oregon on Thursday night. Spent Friday unloading the 4runner, and Saturday fishing. Going fishing again today, Internet is spotty ( have to use my friends hotspot, no internet where he lives) so will try to get pictures loaded in a few days

Removed the RBs in anticipation of the RSG sliders going on Wednesday.

Man, do I love AZ cars. To my knowledge, this is the first time they have been off. Other than a good cleaning after removal, even I'm amazed how good the paint and body looks behind the RBs.

Friday night I suffered an out of town fuel pump failure. Had to get it towed to the nearest dealer. You can guess the heart ache from there .
Including a new fuel filter and $150 towing bill , $ 1100.00 bucks (Canadian funds) .

Surprisingly, he wasn't all that interested in my vehicle. He was primarily using it for cover from a vehicle passing by on the street. He went to retrieve a backpack with a stolen bottle of booze with the security device still on, from my back yard. I think he used the vacant lot behind my house to get away from the grocery store and ditched the items in my yard. When he came back to retrieve his loot, I grabbed my 17 to go clear my property. Not sure he even new I was armed with my bright ARB LED light blasting his eyes. But I made it know that he was not welcome on my property.
