Wired my ARB locker solenoids 2 work with the oem elocker on/off switch and replaced my instrument panel with a button t-case style to use the indicator lights. Switched the gas gauge to retain the 4x4 indicator as normal and moved the ECT 2 the only easily used empty idiot light slot.

Cheap upgrade day: homelink mirror, yellow fogs and more interior leds

Scored a gentex autodimming mirror with compass and homelink buttons from a early-model mazda3 at the salvage yard for $2. Nice thing was the compass indicator was white, making it easy to customize, in my case to blue to match the blue/green motif of my interior with a small square of blue film from my light gels sample book. Sacrificed a couple guitar picks but got that thing opened relatively unscathed.

Replaced my burnt fog bulbs with some cheapies from RockAuto: Hella H3P50
Added some yellow tint film to the lenses. Got a cheap roll from Amazon. Took a total of 4 layers of the film to achieve the desired color. Heat gun made all the difference. In all I only used a thin slice of film for each oem foglight, which have seen better days!, and have about 5 feet left of the stuff.

In my quest to replace and add as many leds to the interior as possible I replaced the passenger visor light bulb with an led one. A pack of these was very cheap on eBay and seem to work really well. May not show in the picture but much brighter than the rather useless oem one. The mirror, which does get used I've noticed, is actually functional at night now!
bulb size: 6641, or 6614. Search for vanity mirror bulb and compare the images.

Oil and filter change today 160k miles. Went with a Toyo D3 filter as I had it left over my LS 400.

Drained a little over 5 quarts and fill was a little under 6 quarts.

Also sent the drained oil off for a UOA. My car's first.
