Do you happen to know what tire size and what size spacers were used with his TRD Team Trail wheels?
He’s running Spidertrax 1.25” spacers with 255/85/16 Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx’s

Finally had my mechanic change out my water pump and timing belt along with the rest of the belts. Also had a transmission cooler installed.

Which Cooler did you go with? and did u bother with an electric Fan? Did you have a WP failure or "just while you're in there"
I think a Cooler is a great idea... My Old one rusted out so i had it removed. I never replaced it.. I used to have a pop up trailer. i think it helped. I still have a jetski. I think when i have to get my water pump and timing done i'll have them re install a new cooler.

I went with B&M for the transmission cooler. I don’t tow but I had it installed for peace of mind due to the fact I have a rebuilt transmission and at least for me, I’m hoping it will help keep my transmission to last a bit longer as I don’t plan to purchase a new or used vehicle anytime in the foreseeable future.
And as far as the WP and timing belt was concerned, there wasn’t any problems with it as far as I could tell but it hasn’t been changed since around the 180k mile mark. And when I had the engine replaced at around the 280k+ mile mark with a Japanese engine, my old mechanic never bothered to replace the WP and timing belt when he had everything out. I even asked him to replace it since he had to replace the old engine anyways. I think he was just trying to nickel and dime me.

Worked on a new grill. This thing tired my patience. Cutting a 96-98 grill, 26 holes drilled, 72 nuts and bolts total. Will try to get it painted tonight and then wire lights and install.

Freshened up my center caps. I filled in the Toyota logo.
Diamont primer then I used Limco base. FYI SLV025 from the Limco color selector is a great match to the double spoke stock alloy wheel silver. If you have a BASF paint jobber close by and need to freshen up your wheels.
Then I put 2 coats of PPG EC550 clear on them added the TRD decals on the caps then 3 more coats of clear. Normally I wouldn’t put PPG clear over BASF base but the Limco color is as close to perfect as it gets and I had a little EC550 I needed to finish off.

Finished up the new grill, painted, installed and light wired up. I think it turned out pretty sweet. Might put a piece of metal, hit with some matte white and put it behind the 4Runner to make it stand out better.

Got home today from work, took the grill out, cut a piece of aluminum, painted it matte white, used some industrial strength glue (hope it holds) to mount it and reinstalled grill. Looks pretty good...son was happy.

Took it out to check for possible 7.1 earthquake damage to our RV that's parked in Ridgecrest area.
Took a sunrise shot along the way at Red Rock Canyon:
Got to the RV, turns out the tie-down straps did their job, nothing broken or even knocked over inside:
So took another scenic shot and went on my merry way

Paid a shop to fix my rig. had two cracked heads. so 2 brand new heads, full timing belt kit, water pump ext, knock sensor, fan clutch bearing. While it was apart had them throw Doug Thorley headers on. Get it back later today. 4500.00 :frusty:
