Trying to program my keyless entry for my 98.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong...
I’ve read and searched everything I can find, are there any trouble shooting guides for it?

Gonna need more info. What remote did you buy? Did you try erasing old remotes saved?

It is a 1998 limited
It’s a great remote from remotes.com
I have in programmed the old remotes
And have been trying to program new ones

I dont hear a chirp when erasing the old one but do hear a few clicks coming from somewhere

Finally installed the URD short throw shifter I’ve been procrastinating on. Also new OEM bushings for the shifter while I was in there.

Thanks, and here she is with 197k miles and counting, nothing much done to it YET, planning on removing the running boards, 3" lift, and buying the some TRD Pro rims. Within this year I only upgraded the sound system, got a double din, installed a reverse camera, and installed a Flowmaster muffler. Oh and that's a pic of the horns installed!

I did the same last night after a hard pedal scare while running errands. I had an extra known good check valve that I tried with no change. Today I headed down to the salvage yard and picked up a Bendix (OEM) for $50 and installed. Back to business as usual!

Also a Mobil 1 oil & filter since I was past due.

Same ! Bendix oem scooped off of Deathcougar, mobil 1 oil and filter change as well.

I bought it!! natural white 99 limited with 223000 miles for 3800. unfortunately no locker but everything is in mostly working condition at least. that was actually 2 days ago but close enough, yesterday i affixed the skid plate in a way that didn't involve zip ties and put sway bar end links on it as the previous owner had taken them off. Now I need to figure out why the 12v power outlets (apart from the cigarette lighter) don't work, and then get new wheels and tires as it came with 20 inch wheels.

Replaced my rear wiper arm and pulled the carpet out of the cargo area and began the cleanup/prep for covering it with cargo liner paint.
