Just passed 300k km today. As it is no longer my daily driver, this is probably a lot less than some... I did an engine replacement in 2015 at 237K, and haven't really done anything more than maintenance, and its still going strong--- eventhough it needs a few things...

I am thinking on changing my tires on my 2002. For better grip while off-road Would you go with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Radial Tire -LT275/70R16/D 119/116S instead or you are happy with he current ones?

Installed a b&m external trans cooler. Last week i hit 250 routinely while wheeling. Yesterday I barely touched 200, maybe 205 at the highest. Thing works great so far. Fluid still looked in good condition but I'll be flushing that this weekend.

I ran it in 4lo monday and saw the 30-40 degree drop after installing the cooler. I was in 4lo the previous week and it was still getting up to 250.

cleaned up 24 years of detritus consisting mainly of oil deposits from the pickup.

Thought that was a joke til I realized you're in Canada. We only have blinker fluid warning lights over here.

There's so much dirt on the frame the oil has no chance of reaching metal. :tongue1:
Unless you count the r&p and adjacent cross member, oil pan, and skid plate I wasn't getting much protection. No adding oil in between, but I only had to loosen part of one side once I had the bolts and nuts off and the thing fell into my hand. FIPG was finished.

Now watch my truck turn into a rusty pile of dust by the end of the week...

Replaced AC condenser, evaporator, compressor, dryer, expansion valve, O-rings and pressure sensor. Ordered and new AC compressor idler pulley since it was seized and the tensioner adjustment bolt snapped off in it. Damn rust belt

Another week or so with out AC

nothing big...took some back roads...went fishing for artic graylings and trout...then got home and dropped it off for an alignment tomorrow. Son picked me up on his soon to be lifted taco..when we got time to do it.

(where I was graylings have to be thrown back...next stop was a lake for trout..can keep them...all 10 trout dinner tonight for the family)
