I hate removing that bezel, makes me go grey faster.

I should have, but like a fool I didn't. But I'll be removing the bezel again because I forgot to reconnect the clock, so I'll do it then .

Where does one usually get the shifter bushings?

I decided to tackle the leaky power steering return line that has been oiling down my shiny, new OEM steering rack and it turns out it is really hard to get to that line. I pulled the skids, sway bar, splash guard, tire and shock and it is still really hard to get in there. Got a set of the long pliers from Hong Kong Freight, I think it's the 1st time I ever used them. Turns out the hose is 10mm and not 3/8", which is more like 9.5mm. Doesn't sound like a lot but when you can't get access to the part to hold it and push it becomes a lot. Especially when you need to get it done because you are leaving to go camping & 4 wheeling tomorrow. I cut the new hose about 2" longer and slid it over both metal lines enough to get 2 clamps on each side. Undoing the clamps that hold the metal lines to the frame helps. Nobody around had any 10mm line so I had to use 3/8". Had I known I would have ordered the whole metal line with hose line from Rock auto for $20 The dog wasn't much help either. I finished getting the clamps on last night the degreased everything and will reassemble after work tonight.

1. Put in rear OME 906 coils to fix sag/tent/drawer weight and leveled out pretty good. Stock up front so im curious what I should do next.

2. Used defender mounts and refit rooftop tent for lower profile and was able to put small basket on front too.

what bracket is that ? Defender..what model I did not know they made them to fit our racks system

also with it dropping down..does that make basket too low for sunroof to tilt ?

Sorry, wrote this fast. It is the smittybilt defender rack mounts. They fit perfectly into the factory track system in our roof.

My basket is actually connected to the rooftop tent base and is extending out. So i cant put too much weight in it but it is slightly high enough to open the sunroof.

I re-torqued them after some driving but I get a ticking at high RPM, not sure if I have exhaust leak or its just a difference from cast iron to steel tube.

Can only afford rears right now, I'm waiting on parts to come in a week. My current rear is shot, I think the jounces are sitting on the frame, so I can review them when I get them in but I got nothing to compare to except it will probably be "no more extreme bump explosions from the rear" I drove down to toytec, nice people, their parking lot looks like 4runner offroad showroom.

LBJ + Alignment

My lower ball joints were leaking so I changed them out with new OEM ones. I did an alignment after.

Removed the fuel tank to replace what I thought was going to be a bad fuel pump. Turns out, I smashed my fuel tank right under the fuel pump and bent the bracket that the fuel pump mounts to. I will try to bend that out tomorrow before I order a new tank

Did two things today. First I replaced my rear heater line with a new one. Old one was extremely rusted and had a small leak. As soon as I started to loosen one of the nuts to take it off it broke it and a few quarts of coolant came out. Luckily that didn't happen while I was driving.

Second I got my axle put back on. Raised the rear more and got a rake now but I got these as i'm planning on putting a good amount of weight in the rear. Roof rack, roof top tent, all the gear for camping and just general gear, a steel bumper probably with a tire carrier.

Did a few small things to make driving a bit more enjoyable.

First, I adjusted the brake pedal as per the repair manual guidelines. This shortened the pedal travel that I gained from the 231mm TBU. The brakes definitely engage sooner which is great, but it's still not where I want it. I think the only option from here is to keep bleeding, and then upgrade to the T100 MC + brake vacuum booster.

I also tucked away my wireless charging phone mount cable, adjusted the bracket on the gas tank door, switched the retaining clips for the visors, and gave it a good wipe down. It's all in the details.

Next I want to get the crayon off the headliner and pull all the emblems from the rear door.

I got my wheels and tires in today. Gonna try to get them on very soon. I'm going to a- lt265/70/17
At this point it's all mostly stock. I'm not sure if I'll have any trouble with rubbing. I'd REALLY appreciate any comments for advice. I have 2 inch wheel spacers on the way. Idk how to add a pic to this post. I can't seem to get any response or anything on here. So, if you read this and feel generous I'd really appreciate any help.
