I didn't realize they make their own vent, I thought they just made the cover and sold it with an OEM vent. That's good to know, theirs does look like it would be doable to get it in there between the bumper and body.

Installed a new passenger door courtesy switch, 84231-32040.
For years I've put up with opening the passenger door in the morning to put my briefcase in, then running over to the driver side before the truck auto-locked (since the passenger door switch did not work). No more - Hallelujah!

My driver door switch is sticking, might replace or swap with another door in the short term...Installed a new passenger door courtesy switch, 84231-32040.

If the motor isn't seized you can often "assist" the sunroof to open. Then you can snake the drains easily enough

I have a 2000 SR5 and always leave the headlights on. The circuitry logic shuts off the lights (and the windows, radio) when the driver's door is opened.
I was with friends at the county fair a couple years ago. At the end of the day we were sunbaked, had a few beers in us and a dead battery. Fortunately I had jumper cables and before long another fairgoer was kind enough to give us a jump.
I replaced both front switches the very next week.
This can also mess with key fob remote programming.

Finally have a working fuel level gauge again!
Picked up my truck from the shop after having the smashed fuel tank replaced. Had them toss the updated sending unit and a new pump in there while it was out. Now I don't run out of gas after 12 gallons because of the dome I put into the old one. The gauge also never went below half. Now it works as expected, I was able to put 17 gallons in today, and I added the Lil Skip skid for good measure. I should have just bought the skid when I learned about it years ago and saved myself the trouble.

Ugh, I hate seeing these things. One of mine (rear passenger) is sketchy and on it's last leg... only the screw has stripped out the hole and won't back out no matter what, and there's zero chance of getting at it from behind

Had '12 black MKS seats in previously - couldn't figure out thermoelectric. Will be pulling for massage swap & waiting up TED on em if anyone round Denver is interested...
