Fixed the front tire rub. Pushed and secured the inner fender liners forward. Cut a small piece of the bumper off each side using a coping saw. Installed new front wiper blades.

Finally found a tire shop that knew what they were doing, the truck now drivers unbelievably smooth.

I had 75,556 when I did the change out, I did a drain and fill when I got it at 42,XXX. I drive in a lot of stop and go base traffic and light offroad/mtn passes almost every week on some adventure or another, fluid was dark brown.

My 3-2 downshift under medium throttle was basically a huge thump, and my 4 to D upshift was inconsistent sometimes it would shift normally other times it would just stay in 4 so I would have to manually shift to 4 then to D to complete the shift. I have not been able to replicate those issues now within a couple hundred miles, I would experience one or both of these phenomena daily. Other shift points, subjectively, feel smoother overall.

Based on my driving habits, I think I am going to do a drain and fill every other OCI which would be every 30k.

Today I will begin a series of drain & fills on the power steering system with Amsoil "ATF"

I'm often stuck in stop-and-go, my trans shifts fine and I had it serviced soon after I bought the truck a few months ago, but I was thinking if a trans cooler would help with the stop-and-go abuse?

I was finally able to get away to the Alabama Skyway 600-1. Just caught the tail end of the fall foliage. The leaves were down on the top of the mountain but looking out there were plenty to see. It was just me and my little mule Pepe.

Old seat covers

Removed - original seats still in great shape.

Installed heating elements from Sparks TRD (for my GF)

Installed Clazzio leather covers - took my time. Electrical was time consuming. - 6 hrs.

Smell and feel like a new ride - heated seats in 2 mins are cool. It was a long day - well worth my effort.

***EDIT - The LED parking lights look good alone. But when the stock low-beams & fog lights are on, the LEDs stand out as being aftermarket
because they are so white compared to the other lights.
The stock bulb I removed was colored amber so now I am looking to try an amber LED. Will keep you posted.***

I continued my PFran LED swap. Did the front parking lights this morning.

Found the tiny burnt out bulb in the glove box and pulled it. Super tiny. Any suggestions on a replacement?
I would do LED over OEM. Can't get to my license plate bulbs due to rusted out screws on the lens. Any recommendations for that?

This is what I have left from the PFran 4th Gen Interior Kit after doing map lights, center dome, rear dome, four doors, front parking lights, (license plate soon).
Does anyone know what this stuff is for?

It makes huge difference on license plate too I did it on both my 4runners. The small dash glove box one will be in stock at dealer. Not sure on the number.

Thank you! But do I WANT people to more easily read my plate? Cops, cameras, etc. Not that I'm up to no-good...but who doesn't speed a little on open highways? I guess if you're caught you're caught...a dim light won't save you...
