What did you do with your 4runner today?

Just put in a k&n CAI on my 08 UR v6 And wow I'm impressed. It honestly made a huge difference. So much more responsive. Not to mention that beautiful sound that roars around 4500 rpm shaking spare change in my console and rattling the dash. Now I just need to find time to get my fj spring swap going!

Went to take off the bolts that hold the rear brake lines in place to get them preped to put on new calipers this weekend. 4 out of the 5 snapped off, which is why I took them off today so I could see how many I was going to have to drill/tap. Took about 2 hours including the trip to lowes to get new hardware. In 1 of the holes the old bolt came out though so after tapping that one its a little bigger for the 8mm bolts. So I need to figure something out there. I dont know if I'll just get a helicoil for it or if I can drill it bigger and put a 10mm bolt in there.

Oh yea! That is definitely it. Everyday driving is still pretty quiet but the moment you step on the gas it just roars

all i did was remove the intake tube but im sure yours sounds a lot better

Pretty interesting day today. Started my afternoon off hitting some trails near where I live, saw an Urban Runner 4WD so I had to post up.

Then finished the day off by running through the car wash to rid of my dirty sins NOTE TO SELF: F*ck car washes! It about tore my light bar off! Don't know if the machines hit it or what but when I came out it was bent upward and loosened. I'm praying that there's no damage to the mount, I'll check it here shortly and update. [emoji30][emoji22]

Oh, and spotted a fellow 2WD up at Pizza Shack! Tried to be sneaky, but he saw me. Talked to him, and says he's heard of the forum but never joined. So I think I just recruited a member, hell ya!

Can't have good new without bad news can ya...
If you followed up with my recent post, good news is it was just the bolts that came loose on the bar, probably by off-roading. Light bar is secure and working 100%

Bad news.. I have a ****ing flat front left tire. I'm so pissed because I've popped about 3 out of the 4.. And just so happens that the patch job was bad because I can't find a nail. Don't know how I'll get it to where it needs to go.. Probably hit up AutoZone or something. My luck, man. I tell ya

Need some help locating the Skid Control ECU. I have the schematic and connector locations which says it's suppose to be on the driver side behind the kick plate, but I don't see it.

Does anyone have a picture of it?

Planned on installing my spindles today. While installing the new SS brake lines I discovered I had a frozen caliper:bash:. So spindles not done but new front brakes, now to check the rears.

Washed up the engine bay a little bit. Had a nice coolant explosion under the hood last night, so I got that fixed up by burping the system.

She's pulled in and I'm about to start installing my eBay UCAs, front sway bar discos, rearward LCA bolts, all pro 1.25 spacers and my 275/70/17s. Finally.
