Quit yer whinin and drink a few beers to ease the back pain lol. It seriously is a lot of work though. What were the torque specs on your delete kit by the way? They've been revised after some issues.

Sweet, did you remove the 1A bushings and add in the SuperPro Bushings? Thats probably one of the best ways to get poly bushings, upgrading a new set.

Yes, bought new 1AAuto LCAs' popped the bushings out and installed the SuperPros'. Sanded the LCAs' painted and clear coated too.

Torque specs: 3/4" bolt - 250 lb-ft ( That's not going to happen! 150 lb-ft maybe) 9/16" bolt - 110 lb-ft ( That's doable)
I don't off road so they won't see a lot of stress. Put stuff like this on because I need "projects" that are improvements.

Yeah they recommend I think 110 ft/lbs each I think now. I did 150 fronts (larger bolts) 110 rear and no issues.

Wife heard grinding from the brakes. Both rear brakes were f*ed. The outboard pad was down to the rivets while the inboard pad still had plenty of life. 26K miles since I replaced the pads & rotors.
Any reason for this? It could be a stuck caliper, as they are both 17yr old original parts. But both at once? Any other thoughts?

I'm sure you will find out of the caliper is stuck when you take it apart. Besides that make sure to use a good grease on pics and behind the pads. I use sil-Glyde.
If I find that the pins were stuck I try to clean them up bet i can before putting them back and maybe try find a brush that you can get inside the hole for the pin.

Time for the new stereo install.
Which starts with the Killmat deadener.
Which took all day today.
Glad I only have to do this once.
And haven't even got to the doors yet (tomorrow, combined w/ speaker installs).
Too bad they don't build the undercarriage as well as the body.
This thing is in near immaculate condition.
And...I got to wash the 17 year old carpet, so there's that!

Thr victory 4x4 winch bumper made a surprise delivery finally today. Unfortunately its the night before our quick overnight trip to the VA mountains so its not painted yet and the winch isn't installed but I couldnt not put it on to see how it would look

Swapped out the OEM backup lights for Luyed LEDs. Remarkable improvement in light output that is understated by the pics. The middle pic showing the passenger side with the LED and driver's side with halogen shows it best.

Finally replaced the spark plugs. The gap on the originals were between 60-70!
I changed the PCV valve again. I had put an aftermarket then when I ordered some oem parts I picked up the oem one. Funny thing is its exactly the same as the one my neighbor got from advance auto for his matrix.
Also changed one of the exhaust hangers. The bigger one with 3 holes. Still have to do the rest.

Been replacing the beat to shit factory leather with new leather covers from leatherseats.com. Just did the driver seat today, what a pain in the ass. Passenger front tomorrow and I'll be done. Back seat passenger and middle headrests are pending, I didn't order enough guides for some reason. Switching as much of the plastic to black using a 2009 Trail Edition for part numbers since they had black interiors optional. Full(ish) write up in my build thread, linked in my sig.

Finished up the Killmat treatment and re-installed about half the interior.
It actually does make a difference, I was kind of surprised really.
Anyway, no time to bask in past endeavors, Killmat is done and we move on.
I finished carpeting my new subwoofer box, came out pretty good.
Then, the original JBL plastic subwoofer box really started bugging me.
So much unused space, such a large box doing exactly nothing now.
I bought 6.5" separates for front/back speakers, which means crossovers.
I haven't bought speakers in a loooong time.
And damn these things (crossovers) are big.
It said in the directions to Not Place them in The Doors (in all caps).
So I took all these thoughts and threw them in the blender that is my brain.
And came up with this, the Re-Purposed JBL subwoofer box.
Took an afternoon with a dremel tool, a sawzall, some wood, and some epoxy.
Everything is mounted and partially wired now.
And the space behind the box is, yes, Kilmatted.
And by the way, where does JBL get off calling that thing a subwoofer?
Cuz...damn, I'm not sure you could even call it a midrange.
Compared to what's coming (last pic).
An interesting week, more stereo install coming as it progresses...
