What did you do with your 4runner today?

Just replaced my PS fluid today using almost 2 quarts worth of drain and fills of Castrol Transmax ATF. I jacked up the front end so I can turn the wheel lock-to-lock in between drain and fills. Just think it's ironic with all these talks of PS pumps lately. My truck also turned 124k miles today and the fluid was probably never replaced!

White taco was great, believe it or not my truck out of the 3 had the lowest miles at 94k, the 06 Taco had 140k, and the 3rd gen had 277k. I need to catch up already
 
Parallel parking with no power steering sucks. Lolol.

And for those of you who think "bah, how bad could the truck be without power steering" go to your truck, turn the key to the on position but don't start it, and try to turn the wheel. Good lord are my arms sore lol

duh, but even so, 6 hours is crazy.

6 hours because it was impossible to find spots for the jack stands because of the unibody, the jack point was barely accessible as is, then rust caused most of the issues, and not to mention the guy who owns the pilot is ridiculously anal, and after we took out every bolt he wrote down where it went, and organized it....

i had to deal with this with my 68 cougar. Shit sucked!

The older, non-PS cars had reduction gears to give leverage. I have no such thing. Most old cars are 3-4 turns in either direction, our trucks are 2 turns, center to lock. It's almost impossible to turn. I feel like I'm gonna break something in the steering column or break my steering wheel off

Can you do a write up when you replace it?
 
Finally installed the Halos after being stashed in my toolbox for too many months. I zip tied them and wired them through my parking lights.





Had to add the decal to add +15 HP lol (thanks momo.75)
