What did you do with your 4runner today?

11 and 3 , and they love doing anything daddy wants to do because daddy does fun guy stuff. Im bringing some pellet guns too so they can get a little plinking in while were in the woods. Ya cant leave little boys hanging with mommy too long or else they start acting like her ! On that note we should get going before she wakes up and ruins a good plan. She may get a call later to come pull us out of a mud hole with the wrangler later , she always loves that .

Putting clear plasti dip on emblems

Stopped by my favorite car wash to get it cleaned as tonight I get to play chauffeur for my 15 year old son going to his first homecoming dance.

They had a 15 buck special to clean inside and out so I figured what the hell. They scrubbed the mags and then ran it though the car wash. But the real fun was when they pulled it inside. All inside windows cleaned, all surfaces washed down, interior vacuumed everywhere including under the seats, WeatherTech's pulled, spray washed and dried, and the tires armor all'd. All in 15 minutes!

The truck looked so unbelievable I pulled it right into the garage where it will remain until tonight when I put on my chauffeur cap. Now I just have to find my camera for all the pictures tonight.

Of my son and his gal not the truck! Maybe I'll make them stand in front of the truck for one of them.

Saturday trip up the power lines with the kids. I tried to get some dirt on her but its waxed and tire shine + heavy rain and deep puddles kept much of it from sticking . Lots came out from underneath when i washed under there though. We got a little bit air borne and sideways coming through a slippery mud hole section and they loved it, so we did it a coupe more times. They were screaming their heads off and laughing.









Im glad they enjoyed it as much as I did.

Got the Rigid floods mounted up. This was a massive ordeal; I'm very mechanically challenged. Fit is tight, but pretty clean overall.
Tried to wire them myself, but had trouble with firewall & dash panels, so I figure I'll leave that to someone that actually knows what they're doing.

i will take a picture of the emblems when the sun is out so you can really see them. it was not the best day for plasti dipping but i had the day off so its what i did. just got it and im trying to make it as far away from soccer mom looking as possible as soon as i can

That's a very good motive. Gotta make our trucks burly, as they were intended to be!

Drove 335 miles in Torrential Downpour!

Drove from Dallas to Galveston in unbelievable rain. Saw 8 Major accidents along the way.

Hydroplaned at least 3 times. Desperately need new tires. Hit 60000 miles on the original Dunlops. Guys at Costco had talked me into waiting 5k more miles prior to change.
