Got my RCI skid plate a couple days ago. Not put it on yet.
I noticed the instructions say to put the nylon spacers on the rear bolts and yours are on the front bolts. Did something crop up on installation?

There are a couple 10mm bolts on the front. I put in spacers so that the plate did not bow when I tightened it down. That was not from RCI, just something I did.
Got it. I have to do some rust repair there before mounting the plate. Will be on the lookout for bowing and apply spacers as needed.

its from the fifth gen tailgate and I modified the R's - its on ebay for like 40 bucks

Well this was last weekend, but finished up a tire carrier swing out to hold a full size spare. Just waiting on the new rim to come in.
My plan is to design a rear plate bumper and add basically the same swingout on it if anybody wants to buy one.

Looks good! I am about to have one made as well. Hopefully it will look something like this.
Looks nice! is that something similar to tiregate where you mount directly to your hitch or are you planning to cut through the OEM bumper and mount it to the frame?

Got some wheeling in yesterday went out to piney lake. Pretty easy trail but still fun.

Changed out my headlights last night, these were from ebay already blacked out as I needed the right one replaced completely anyway. We will see how they hold up to water and what not.

I am thinking it would be a combination of the two. I want to keep the bumper cover so i will have small cuts in it but was also thinking it could tie into the hitch for extra strength. We will see what we can figure out when it gets started.

Replaced factory Panasonic battery! Can't believe it lasted almost 11 years and 130k! I wish we could buy those things.
