What did you do with your 4runner today?

Picked these up from a guy on craigslist today. After a little cleaning up they look pretty damn good for what I paid. Anyone know of a good way to test coilovers aside from putting them on the truck and seeing how they ride? I have no idea about the mileage but couldn't pass them up for the price even if a rebuild is needed. May just have to rebuild them before I put them on the truck but thought I'd ask. If I can wait for a while I may. Thanks for any help.

I'm jealous! I don't see any 4runners around here lifted besides mine. So no parts ever show up either. I want coilovers!!!

I met a deer here in Idaho with my 4RunnerGonna need a new front bumper.

Redipped my wheels and finally figured out why my passenger side LCA was binding. Looks like the last couple of tech put it at such and angle that it was cockeyed. Got it realigned today and all seemed well until I got home and put the wheel at full lock and it is hitting something. Looks like it might be the sway bar. It started to rain so I will have to have a better look tomorrow. Why is it so hard to find a good alignment tech. Weird thing is the spec sheet looks fine.

ever since I moved to phoenix I've been able to find pretty much anything I've been looking for on craigslist eventually if I wait long enough. And being a poor student that is a must! haha. Definitely helps to be in a huge city in that regard.
TC is a great place by the way, my fiancee has family there. Love Michigan summers.
Only thing good about big city area's, better chance of finding good deals like that!
I love Northern Michigan and especially TC. I couldn't imagine moving from here. I love the seasons and the trees and the hills in this area. Plus, I just recently found out there is an offroad club 27 miles away, so that makes if paradise!!
Going tomorrow for the spring party called "Dog Party 2" at Twisted Trails offroad club.

Since its raining here today I decided to drive over to a buddy/former co-workers to do a modified version of LTDSC's seat lowering. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.
We cut the whole tab off then another 1/2 out before welding it back on after flattening it with a hammer. Result lower seat without having to wallow out the bolt holes.

Completed a brake job on the front end today. Man what a chore! On both sides the lower inside piston was frozen. :Cry: So I ended up having to buy new calipers and a brake line for the driver side. The old brake line was rusted solid into the old caliper. I guess that's what you get when you buy a 4Runner that spent most of its life in OH. Everything was rusted together and it made the job about 3 times longer than I expected. I grew up in the Southwest and never had to deal with rusty car parts.
