Finally upgraded my 05 SR5 from 2wd to 4wd on Friday. Picked up this 06 Shadow Mica SR5 4wd. ~187,000 miles, drives like it too lol. Bushings, sway end links, and shocks are all about toast. Front axles are original and blown out. Ordered some reboots for them, hoping there isn't any excessive pitting on the cups. RF caliper locked down, good excuse to swap to sport/limited WHs. Basically needs the whole going through, but it is clean and drivetrain is great. Wasn't running when purchased. Had to throw an alternator in to get it going, did the water pump at the same time as it was leaking.

What kind of front bar is that the in front of the bumper?

Its made by [MENTION=93512]MojaveMadMan[/MENTION] he's here on T4R. I believe he still has a few more left for sale you should check them out. I can attach 4 - up too 7" lights on top and also puty a 31" light bar behind the bottom grill attached to this bar so it can't be snagged., look up mojavemadman light bar and you will see all the pics.
strong as hell its bolt on to the frame. He's a cool guy to work with and awesome at fabrication.

Installed Spidertraxx 1.5's at each corner. Getting some serious rubbing on turns. Taking her to get aligned this week. Also see my driver side boot is leaking grease. Ugh.

changed front pads and rotors. Rear pads still squeak from earlier so i greased the slide pins and pads and the piston. I hope it stays quiet or ill have to change the rear pads again and just throw new rotors on too.

I finished installing my ditch lights today. I went with the FJ cruiser factory fog light switch.

Went looking for trails, only found dead ends.

Went to Heber City today with my two 10 month old boys and the wife to ride some pretty vag-tastic trails but we went for the scenery. Just nice to get out of the house on such a beautiful day with the family. When I say vag-tastic I'm literally talking about trails a lowered Porsche can go over with a millimeter of ground clearance.

Over the past few days I have installed new rear shocks, new gas tank skid, quieter muffler dumped before the rear axle and clayed/waxed the rig! Looking and riding great.

HCF delete will do absolutely nothing for MPG... if anything, the new filter might help.
