What did you do with your 4runner today?

i gotta agree with the guy on the wagon comment. i wanted an AllRoad before i bought my 4Runner (bought it today) but finding a nice audi in the south is next to impossible and i didnt want a b5 which was all i could find and the c5 has the ultra unreliable 2.7T…anyways i digress sorry for the Audi talk i am a euro car enthusiast.

that being said i enjoyed your blog about your truck and i love the roof basket, cant wait to get one for my 4Runner
 
Great writeup. Couldn't agree with it more. It describes exactly why I love my t4r.

The response is a bit off. An explorer has 90% the off-road capability? Really?!
And I can't say I've ever tried to move a bale of horses either.

Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words, it was meant as a tongue in cheek humorous car review. And I LOVE allroads as well but my cousin has one and they are a maintenance nightmare.

Ha, it's maybe 50 percent capable. Also he said the jeep is a better value.

What is a bale of horses?

it is probably the 2.7 bi-turbo, awesome engine when its running…but they break down a lot. i sold my B7 A4 S-Line to buy this 4Runner and I'm still bitter. but i have big plans for this truck.

He had the 2.7 bi turbo one, now he's got the 4.2 v8. He's had problems with the air suspension.

What plans do you have? It should be build thread time soon!

Ha! I think I'll be ok, I've delivered 2 babies in my career at the fire department so far. Might be way different since it'll be my own though.
