What did you do with your 4runner today?

3" body lift with daystar 2.5'/1.5' kit on XREAS.

Honestly, that does not look good. Flame me if you want, but stacking lifts blocks when they're not supposed to just doesn't look right at all. And what about the front? It just looks like you have stock front.

There is no "lift blocks" since that is a term for leaf spring suspension. He installed a body lift which has nothing to do with the suspension, it has it's pros and cons. Most of the cons being cosmetic but I won't really get into right now

He installed 2 body lifts on top of one another...... Seems sketchy to me.

Dude what is your issue. You've been starting pissing fights with everyone all day. You know what I mean by "lift blocks". And obviously a body lift has nothing to do with the suspension, I have a body lift. Seriously man, get out of here with your negativity.

And Zstampe, I hear ya bro. It would make more sense for him to just do all pro 3.5" coils and then do a 1.5" body lift. He'd get the same end result and it wouldn't be so sketchy.

there's nothing sketchy, just had to extend the battery cable, adjust the steering fluid and fix the gap on the front and rear bumper, so far I haven't run into any problem yet, I'm planning to add FJ coil soon.

I would have done the pro 3.5" lift but I heard that ill run into issue with the CV.

Bro, the all pro 3.5" coils are only with the rears.. What you should do is those and a 1.5" body lift. What you did isn't all that smart, but hey if it works sweet. If you hit any issues, let us know

I walked out in the garage and just looked at mine. I had shoulder surgery a week ago and haven't been able to drive since........:zoom::sobbing:

I plan on getting a total of 6" lift and still keep the XREAS system.

Errk! Guess I missed that part, that is kinda sketchy but if he used the correct hardware I don't really see an issue. Do they not make a 3" body lift for the 4runner?

As long as he doesn't try and do something crazy like an even taller body lift, because then if he goes off road lots of force could be exerted on the bolts since there is so much space an the can could come off the frame.

Right, that was my point. He took 2 1.5" body lifts and stacked them. They don't make a 3" body lift for the 4r's. I could be wrong but it's something I wouldn't try.

I agree man. I just feel like keeping the XREAS suspension, with a 6" lift is pointless. The whole idea of lift is to create more clearance and improve offroad capability. If you want a "6 inch lift" then you should do a 1.5" body lift and 3.5" rear coils. That's only 5" but if you're set on 6", then extend the brake lines and throw a spacer up there. For the front, get coilovers and max them out. The 4runner wasn't really meant to be lifted more than 3.5", but since the body lifts came out 5" total is around where you're going to be at. I have 4.5" in the front, and 3.5" in the back from my setup. I replaced the CV axles, and sway bar links. Just my $.02 :nerd:

Decided to plastidip the lower bumper. I kinda like it!

I did that on my 2003 4Runner. Mine was Galactic Gray with the silver panels on the front and rear. It really stuck out, so I plastidipped the front and rear. I think it looks really sharp and adds a nice look.

I was set on keeping my XREAS too.... Then I got my bilsteins and I could not be happier!
