Also something's interesting I found out. All FJs that had the rear locker are wired with ATRAC, but to actually get one with the switch from factory it was an extra $2600 when all you need is to add the switch.

Common misconception. The wiring harness is there but the ATRAC module is not. It's a highly debated topic on the blue room. They wouldn't include ATRAC modules for every truck and just not have the ATRAC switch available for ~$100 through the dealer. That's kinda moronic lol, no offense. People have tried before but it doesn't work.

Ask her to swap axles. If she has an auto, she has the same 3.73 as our V6's, but if you have a V8, you'll need to find an axle from a manual FJ because they get the 3.93's that the V8 4R's have.

Positive. I have a V8, and have done a rear diff rebuild and retrofit of an e-lockered 3rd member from an automatic FJC. But yeah, if you look it up you'll find that V8 4Runners are geared 3:73.
