yeah it does. I don't actually live in that bad of an area, but the violence tends to spill over a bit. It's just nice over the summers I got to live in really nice places while I was making bank working.

So when I start to get a little more of a steady paycheck, I'm looking into getting a 4th gen V8.
Only problem is I drove a client's 4th gen today in the snow and it was absolutely horrible. REALLY?? NO VSC OFF BUTTON???

You'll be the first to know when I do lol. Definitely still a weird coincidence.
real easy to make one, cut a wire, add a switch. Or just lock the center diff. Some of the later models started coming with them.
Can't you just put v8's in anything these days anyway??? :naughty:

Yeah I figured that out about the diff lock. acceptable I guess.
I've always said that if I ever get an automatic, it has to be a V8. I'm fine with that.
edit: I remembered something about running a switch from awhile back. now I see why. I'd prefer to have ABS disabled in snow too. Ice/slush/powder in layers on the road made this 4th gen's ABS useless.
I may soften up on the 4.0 though. it moves really well for what it is.

I think I'd struggle to get 12 for my 03 around here, even with the v8 and the perks.
:behindsofa: it still needs a t belt and water pump, gonna do that in the spring when it's warmer...

Most of them that much are also just the base models. Most everything around 12k has at least 120k miles (no concern for me). Even saw a few 06-08 models for around $24k! wtf. Maybe it's all the snow. I'll try again in summer.
My second gen is old... Finally getting the old vibe from it. turns 20 near the end of next year. It's slow and my mileage has been about 14-15mpg.

I have friends who went to Penn. They tell me of "MurderKing" that's several blocks from where you are, and other places to avoid. But shiek restaurants/bars have "lifted" the area a lot. Really nice compared to what it was years ago.
I was studying for Kaplan years ago and classes where held near the Quad (can't remember what Hall that was). I would walk from 30th station, thru Drexel (ick) and up to Penn.
Hey, with a Penn degree, I highly doubt you will EVER return to the ghetto to live.
