What did you do with your 4runner today?

I dunno... I can get him 1/2" of lift for $35-40 lol.

Bodylift is TOTALLY easier than messing with that silly spring and shock nonsense. (Before anyone is all "hur dur hur durrrr!!!" I mean this with the utmost of sarcasm)

best part is he has a truck with front and rear live axles....thats the easiest to lift in the world...

Wait, are the Hilux Surf grilles easier to mod than our regular old 2003-2005 grilles? I really like the look!

Lots easier, the hilux grill comes with a billet grill kind of insert, it is held in with 6-8 screws. Cut a mesh grill in that size, figure a way to mount other than zip ties, (I'm working on that) and put in car! Luckily for me, I had others do all the work to this point!!

The hilux billet grills are expensive too, $500ish if I recall! I got lucky with a used one

Driving to my momma's tonight I got pulled for the Christmas light's on my roof rack after having them on since right after thanksgiving and being around multiple law enforcement agencies with no problems. Some people in life are such party poopers. They were on a very slow fade and I don't speed. I would assume he doesn't have kid's....There were lots of people that liked them too bad he didn't.

That's not cool. It's only for a few weeks. I've always wanted to do it so I'm glad I finally got to do it. I got a kick out of it only being green and blue...is red not a emergency color lol.

tried to put 35s on my 4runner today they fit like a glove and looked amazing but they rubbed when I turned all the way driver didn't rub when I cranked it passenger could definitely run slightly used 35s I ended up going with the 33 inch toyo open country and new 18 inch XD 962's and she rides amazing

thanks every one in my area has moto metal 961's or the xd rockstar I was going to get a set of pro comps but a lot of people have them on there yota's in sacramento area I like to be unique so I had these order and all the jeep guys have been getting the ATX's :target: I can't believe how good the open country's ride, I feel like its on stock wheels and tires

my 4runner is a 2003 and it was one of those silver 03's that had the black factory cladding it looks kind of cheesy stock, but the original owner rhino lined them, and the ones on the fenders are after market they stick out about an inch and are also rhino lined they make it really nice for when you get out of your truck on really narrow rock crawling trails to get out and assess the situation or pick a line I also open my door into a rock or tree stump or some obstacle lol I woulda probably had do get all 4 doors repainted by now with out the rhino lined cladding lol

Yeah' mine has the stock cheesey cladding....those are stock panels on the fenders. They are just different on the '03 models.
