What did you do with your 4runner today?

Had a nice extra day off!

Washed the 4runner, finally, its been along time! actually haven't washed since i lifted more and added 285's! Wow its a lot more work to wash now. Thats ok its worth it.

I need a good camera, it looks a whole lot better than this pic! cell pic!

Also had some extra T4R.ORG stickers ( [MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION] ) so i thought of a cool idea for them! And wanted to try the Duck Commander line!

They do have a nice hum to them! I havent put many miles on them yet, I heard it gets louder as they wear. and about the black headlights, im worried ill over heat them in the oven trying to get the glue loose! lol

friend of mine had 38x13.5s and they sounded like a fighter jet at 40+ He got rid of them FAST.

no oven for me. just a porter cable heat gun. took all of 5 minutes to get it open i have opened my retrofits 3 times already to make different mods to them. pro at removeing headlamps now and opening up the headlights LOL

I might give it a shot sometime over Christmas break! I have read the thread on how to do it a few times but just never attempted it.

Not sure how I wanna handle that yet. I like that lower grille and I don't love the look of mesh down there. I wanna get it wired up and see the output with the grille in place and see how much output I lose.

Don't forget I have the 40" bar on top and will have two 55w HID pencil beam spot lights on my CBI windshield brackets, so I'm willing to lose a little output to keep it all clean.

I thought about just bolting it to the bumper, but I'm more worried about theft etc. and i'd rather have it nice and hidden :spy:

i had to cut mine, the lines on the grille were right where the LEDs were. It hindered it big time. Now i dont have any issues and people cant tell i made the grille if i didnt tell them.

I tried to hunt down electrical gremlin that's been plaguing me for two years now. Came this close to shooting my baby with a compound bow to get her to smarten the frank-and-beans up! Just kidding, but it is driving me up a wall
