Hey Bob, these are the ones I purchased (Autovizion Super Compact 9006 HB4 3000K Golden Yellow HID Xenon Kit Fog Light | eBay) and although I've purchased from different vendors like DDM, These were a little bit cheaper and the ballast was smaller and they included double sided tape, different plugs for different applications, and some zip ties, something other vendors don't include...
And let me tell you, I've had yellow bulbs before in the 4runner as well as other cars and they're are no match for the intensity (Pun intended) of HIDs..


I'll try to get a picture at night as well as during the day if you'd like. But Yes, I am very happy.

REdid my BHLM because of some issues... total pain in the ass but still worth it. Much easier the second time around. If you plan on doing this, try to have someone familiar with the process assist. There are a LOT of little clips etc that you can and will break if you're not careful. Also, I removed the amber reflector. Most of the clips were broken anyways and I think it looks better without. Next up is headlight restoration using spar urethane method, as you can see mine are bad.

Also, I did the TPMS bypass. Awesome.

Too much New Jersey swamp mud and sand in the silicone. I'll rebake and cut it all out and replace with new black RTV

Ya, not what I planned for my day off, but atleast it was 34 degrees out, and not 18 and snowing or something.

Good to have it done, woulda sucked springing a big leak while on the road up north for some snowboarding.

Oh ya, the fun continues....Advanced Auto rad is dripping trans fluid at the lower fitting. Tightening didn't help the leak at the washer/seal.

AA has none in stock at any store or warehouse.

Just ordered a Spectra Premium (no one had Denso or Japanese Koyo brands in stock), should be here Friday, so I can work on it after the snowstorm and while it's 2 degrees out...

i have been considering the mod. i have a cracked lens on a headlight. ill prob buy a replacement then do the mod. not sure when ill get around to doing it tho. id help you do yours. seems pretty easy, ive blacked out headlights before on other vehicles.

what paint or steps would you advise doing when painting over or removing the chrome on the plastic. i have never painted plastic before so im not 100% sure on steps so that i dont have peeling problems
