I decided to go with these b/c retrofitting 5th gen mirror will NOT work (can't find the link................ too lazy). Even if they did work, it will be uberexpensive.

He did a great job, totally hardcore because he modded (cut) his rear view mirror cover. I don't think he installed puddle lights though.

Went to visit the powder coater... talked process, looked at colors, and got a ballpark price to do my bumpers!! Should be dropping them off next week!

I haven't completely decided yet, but I'm leaning toward a Cardinal color called "Steel Gray Pearlescent"… it'll be something in the "gunmetal" family. It will be around $400 for front bumper, rear bumper, rear swing-out, spare tire mount, jerry can holder, and the other little parts. That includes sandblasting, phosphate dipping, and powder-coating. I'm pretty excited!

Stopped by the new dealership and picked up a new filter while looking at some new t4rs. Also my second oil change on full synthetic since about 4300 miles. Noticed this on the cap for where I pour my oil in.
