What did you do with your 4runner today?

We have to make our own 1" material for my recovery points...

Not many people can say they built their own bumper.

Fewer can say they made their own recovery points by hand

i finally got around to doing my stereo install
Rockford Fosgate Punch P165-S components for the fronts, P165 Coax for rear doors, RAAM Audio sound deadening on all doors with ensolite foam as a final layer, Alpine Power pack Amp, Kenwood DDX371 double din. everything went smoothly except i got a bad headunit and the Rear RCA outputs do not work. but a new one is on the way.

ive got to say, for a very budget minded setup, the sound is phenomenal, crossover on the amp set to 60hz, and just using the factory loaded EQ presets on the headunit, Gets loud and clear for quite some distance away from the 4runner.

in about 3 weeks i will be putting tacoma TRD struts/coils on the front and hopefully ill located a set of rear FJ Coils by then too.

Used it to haul my bike to the trail. It gets used for that on a very regular basis. My buddy installed the budget boost leveling kit yesterday, I'm pretty pleased with the way it looks for the moment.

Now to wait for it to dry and to reinstall, then drive an hour and a half back home... I need coffee!

I didn't feel like taking the extra time to hunt down a 7/8ths drill, because the shop we were at only had little drills.

I'm going to bore it out with a corded drill and a step bit when I get the time
