What did you do with your 4runner today?

Technically yesterday, but changed out the gear oil in the front and rear diffs and transfer case. Rotated the tires, pulled down the spare to clean that area after this winter. Re-torqued the front suspension and cleaned the uniball UCAs. Re-tuned the sound system. In short, nothing exciting 
Oil change after work today then I can put the belly armor back on for the spring/summer season.
Also found a bit of oil around the power steering pump so I need to verify exactly where that's coming from. It's always something!

Got the Day Star 2.5/1.5 lift in and removed the running boards. Now looking for tires for her.

I'm a huge fan of Cusco products, I have the lower strut brace on my ack and that thing works wonders and has taken a serious beating over the years. Would those sways fit our 4Runners?

What is the purpose of the cooling plate, strut tower brace, and power brace? I like those sway bars

It should, seeing as though all the 4runner/fj suspension components are interchangeable. I'm getting the sway bars for sure, they are bigger then the current addco ones I have plus it also seems like they have a welded on "lateral lock" for the bushings similar to what the oem sway bars implement. However I do not know if the power brace bars or the strut tower brace would bolt onto a 4runner and its effectiveness.

The cooling plate should be similar to what the 4runner one is, except the cusco is made from some alloy, aluminum I think. If you pop the hood on a 4runner you'll see that the radiator cover is directional where it sends air to both the condenser and radiator because it sits in front of both of those. On a fj and tacoma, its radiator cover is after the fact. The strut bar on car where it bolts up to where the struts are, even the power brace, adds rigidity under cornering so that there no flex. However on this bof platform idk how effective it can be. If I knew it would bolt up to a 4runner I would try it. If it really didn't help me at the track, then at least when I go hardpark with the stance nation peeps and I could go "look! jdm bro! want an sr20? these will pull a premium before race wars."

To keep it thread relevant...I pulled the LCA skids so [MENTION=99235]Scott@Hightech[/MENTION] can check the alignment and a few other things when I drop by the shop tomorrow.

So I somehow broke the adjuster on my air vent...anyone have advice on how to fix this without buying a whole new vent, cause I imagine that would be expensive.
You're gonna have to take that trim piece off and look at it from the inside, my guess is a tab or something broke

Changed the oil and rotated the tires but first I took a ride to the mountains to play in maybe the last snow of the season.
