What did you do with your 4runner today?

Was all of the wood warped? I think starting with straight wood makes the finished product a bit nicer.

2x4's are straight and it's 1/2" plywood, it'll be straight when I screw it down.

As for the 2x12's, I pulled that from a bay of 2x12x16's, and after spending the entire day shoveling and spreading 10cu. yards of loam, I decided I wasn't gonna dig through to find the best piece.

Having framed and finished the majority of my house using bundles of 2x4's with some warped pieces, I think I can make it work out just fine Never underestimate a well-placed brace.

i went the simple way on my bed in the back. now if only i had a good idea for storage

Borrowed the lift in my cousin's shop to replace the differential fluid.

This is what I used for both front and rear differentials:


Finished with the front:


Draining the rear:


Also changed engine oil, cabin air filter, engine air filter, and washed the car. It was a productive Sunday .

Installed the new lowering kit, decided i didnt like the look of a lifted truck anymore. these 285s kinda rub though.

Cut openings in the lower grill in preparation for rigid dually d2's.
Installed cbi ditch light brackets. (Trimmed the windshield side pieces so I was able to reinstall them once the ditch brackets were installed. It took a little extra time, but I didn't like the idea (or look) of leaving the side pieces off).

I didnt realize you had to trim the trim pieces. Is this the same for all the ditch brackets or where yours out of spec? I have a set coming this week (hopefully, since CBI hasnt responded to any of my emails).



Finally got around to installing my differential breather today. Everything went together super easy. Dropping the spares gives you a lot more room to work.
