What did you do with your 4runner today?

I didnt realize you had to trim the trim pieces. Is this the same for all the ditch brackets or where yours out of spec? I have a set coming this week (hopefully, since CBI hasnt responded to any of my emails).

The instructions tell you to remove them and leave them off once the ditch light brackets are installed. The ditch light brackets were fine, they just get in the way of the stock trim piece so I trimmed out a slot in the pieces so that I could re-install them with the brackets installed. IF you don't trim them then you have no choice but to leave them off...

Just push the fender liner forward a bit and you should be good to go. :hatsoff:

Too much but since they were going to be pulling my dash to replace an evaporator i would go ahead and kill two birds with one stone. Toyota wanted close to $1000 just for installation. Can't really complain since i have hardly had any issue with this 11.5 year old truck.

I'd be worried about the door not fitting correctly when re-installing it, especially when wheeling. Also, looks like anything that falls on the floor could just roll out. Other than that, pretty straightforward taking it off? Good luck!

That was my biggest fear but I already put both doors back on just to see and no alignment problems at all.
And all the buttons and locks work perfectly. Keeping them off for a while.
Already took everything out that could get stolen anyway haha
