Packed all my shop tools into the truck and left the shop. Got laid off today, along with 3 other guys.. Shitty feeling for sure. Oh well :/

I'm taking advantage of my new free time though! More truck mod installs coming in the next week! Tackling my projector retro tomorrow, then lift install and alignment Sunday!

I've had it for 2 weeks. Replaced driver side door actuator and latch, factory key and remote unlock, door stop cut down so it doesn't hit window (that door is all 'psycho girlfriend'. Looks okay on the outside, but...), Replaced shifter sliders and jack hatch cover. It's needing some TLC.

Today, I let 12 PSI out of the tires. Stealer I bought it from had it jacked up to 48 PSI (tire says 44 Max right on it). Ran it over some train tracks, dips and speed bumps and, as if by magic, it doesn't feel like driving a covered wagon anymore.

Really sorry to hear this..... Getting laid off is never good but hopefully it will be an opportunity to find something better.....

Starting school full time, living on campus, so I was going to be leaving anyway, but I didn't want to leave 2 months early. I feel bad for the guys close to retirement that got laid off :/

Haha thanks! I painted the shrouds myself.

I used Morimoto Mini H1's with the Gatling gun shrouds. For the halos I used 70mm Morimoto XB LED halos. They look really good both on and off, plus they're BRIGHT, so I have functioning DRL's and turn signals!

Everything was purchased through retrofitsource.com but I bought the projectors, shrouds, bulbs and ballasts used from a member on TW. I got a new relay harness and the halos from TRS

I did sand it to get rid of scratches and nicks and I used a plastic paint prep to remove any grease or oil.

I put a couple coats of clear on after the grey.

Does look really good! I was on the road this past week and was looking at the interior colors of mine. I was wondering how darker seats would look but didn't think about the silver trim. That is a good idea! Good job!
