What did you do with your 4runner today?

installed my switchbacks!!!

Got them in last week and finally installed them today. Not a bad install. Plug and play. No reverse polarization scare. VLeds make a very high quality product. I would recommend these to anyone. I got the 5000K kit (also available with 6000K.... little blueish for my taste). I have this video to share.

Kit does come with a "dim" wire so you can attach them to your parking/headlights and have them remain (however, dimmer) on. I thought about this, but decided J.A.'s DRL mod is better. I'll get that done someday, but for the time being...............................

Actually did this Thursday. Loaded up for some quality time with the daughters.
I hardly get time to do any camping and site seeing with or without them.

Camping

Went camping this weekend. This was also the first real 4X4 adventure in my Runner. Just did my 3" Toytec ultimate lift recently too.

honestly, they are better than stock when you compare it to the drop in plug and play hid kit. much wider. but if you really cut up and mod it a lil more, a rx projector is more better, so is a tsx for a beginner. im spoiled by my work.

All I'm going for is better than the stock projector with pnp kit. I have tsx projectors in my Acura, this isn't my first rodeo. I really just want the double high beams for dark country roads

Here are some more pictures of me probably 90 percent done, still painting my cross bars and light bar black and maybe some touch up items in black. Need to buff out my headlights and do a light vinyl smoke on the tails. Also the picture site killed alot of the detail of my pics ... the color is MUCH nicer in person and in hi-res pics. It's has a very subtle pearl to it without being over the top.

quad high beams are a must, must have the foglight mod done too, so you have all 6 lighted up. i thought u have led bars like the others on here.

Nice looks good man! I have 4 Gallons of the Aluminum at the house i'm just waiting for [MENTION=77033]J053619[/MENTION] to get his kit and where going to dip our 4runners together. How many gallons did you use, also how long did it take you ? I've heard the prep with masking everything off is the hardest part?
