What did you do with your 4runner today?

Vinyl wrapped the roof rack fairing and added my WM (whitson metal works) decal. Snapped a few pics for his new website too.

Beautiful runner [MENTION=46025]HokieRunner[/MENTION]!! We have very similar rides! I too, have a WMW rack being built and hopefully i'll be seeing it soon.

Would you be interested in building a fairing for my rack? I read your how-to, but I dont have access to the tools necessary.

Thanks Brandon! I have no doubt you'll be extremely pleased with the rack. As for making a fairing, while I'd like to I don't really have the time with the current projects and work. You may want to consider getting a Yakima fairing to put in. I think momo used a Thule or Yakima fairing and it looks great.

If you wanted to make it yourself...it's a good excuse to get a hacksaw and a drill. You could probably make it with just those tools! Good luck and pm me if you need any tips or have any questions.

Went to Toyota to see if they had any re manufactured cv axles I could buy. They said my only option was to but new oem ( which they quoted at $481) and they highly recommended to have them "professionally" install it (quoted me $380 for labor). I laughed and kindly told them to pound sand. So does anyone know if the reman cardone shafts from rock auto are remanufactered oem shafts or what?

Put that new seal in today. Went pretty good. Really surprised because almost everything underneath is rusted up, but noting I had to mess with was.. The fact that I felt poopy all day didn't help.

Thanks man, it is hard to tell in the pictures but I have a little sag in the rear so I ordered a cornfed 2.5" rear spacer to replace the 1.5" it should be here today and hopefully I will have it on before the weekend is over with the help from [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION]

I had my bubbling fixed right after I got mine and it came back in a matter of months. I'll just let it rust through then buy a new hatch in a few years. But the bubbling hasn't gotten any worse in the last 6-8 months so maybe this is as bad as it'll get

Always loved that style better! Well today I did the lower cost version of this mod :biggrin2:. I installed the Depo Headlights with HIR bulbs.

Very nice! I still got a few tricks up my sleeve to make these "one of a kind". Project starts tonight. Fyi I will be selling my old headlights. Blacked out Bezels and trs optically clear lenses in the factory projector. Stay tuned.
