I figure when they get bad enough to replace, I'll just buy some uca's. I need them anyway. Are the lower ball joints hard to change?

Lower ball joints are pretty easy but you'll definitely get a workout (unless you have an air compressor!). You'll need to rent a press kit from a local auto parts store but shouldn't take more than an hour or two.

so took truck to work today instead of the bike due to rain.....
i have only drove the truck on a few errands since a camping trip last weekend
well
long story short
i did not clean out the beer cooler and it had bottles in it
apparently a few bottles opened up from banging around when the ice melted
today i had to make an abrupt stop and guess what
the cooler flipped forward, top opened, and everything in it beer bottles and a slurry of stale beer and melted ice water covered the whole truck filled all my cup holders
holy crap what a ****ing mess.......
im sure i will be arrested on suspicion of dwi
i am thinking of just burning the whole truck

Shit....... lol
I got black mold in my cooler from leaving it in the truck after a trip for a few months.... Needless to say, I threw the cooler out

Install some firestone 4135 coil rite, seems to raise the back an inch or so, well see how 15 psi works for me with my gear in the cargo. I do have about 400 or so in the back. Install is pretty easy, I use the video for the 5th gen install in etrailer.com and YouTube for larger version.

I took my manager and a co-worker out for some Colorado wheeling. They are both from Arizona and have Jeeps.
We did China Wall trail. I have been on the trail several times but I haven't attempted the wall yet.
Going up the trail they were very impressed with the 4Runners ability, how smooth and comfortable the ride is (this is going over some sweet obstacles).
Then we get to the wall. A big pool of water and mud lie at the base of this rock wall. The 4Runner walked up the wall like it was childs play.
After walking them around a bit and further impressing them with the beautiful Colorado outdoors, we headed back down 204 for some more fun. This part of the trail is actually a bit more challenging then the first, tight trail between rocks, tippyness and plenty of rock obstacles to play on.
About 100 yards into 204 we come across a Ford 250. The driver has a rock and is trying to dug under his passenger rear tire. He had been stuck there for 2 hours. A Ford 250 4x4.
We hooked up a strap and pulled him back so he could get going again. We also advised him to turn around because the trail was a lot more challenging the way he was headed. He was thankful and drove off.
I took a wrong turn and found another challenging set of rocks. On my third attempt I slid back at an angle putting me very close to some Pine trees. I had said this was my last attempt and the rocks won. But then sitting at the new position I had slid back into I see a path forward. I queried the spotter and he said it was probably ok so I gunned it. Over we went, the rocks were mine.
Just another outstanding day on the trail in beautiful Colorado.
Now there are 2 more Arizona Jeep drivers very impressed with Colorado and Toyota.
