How much rubbing do you have with that set-up?!

So far I've only experienced slight rubbing when backing into the driveway, looks like I just need to push the fender lining in more. Discount Tire was kind enough to trim the front bumper for me.

Looking into Icon or Radflo for my next purchase

So I broke my key fob a few weeks ago and didn't want to pay toyota 200 dollars for a new one, so I got on Amazon and started looking around. Found one for 19.99 and got a rubber cover for it too so maybe it won't break again. Bought it Tuesday it showed up today, and only took a minute to program. It works great and has surprisingly good range. I'm pleased for 30 bucks total.

About 2 hours wasted reaming out holes to make hitch line up
Fyi ato front hitch is a much better design

And here she is finished with license plate in the hitch

After a night of drinking I decided 11pm was a good time to install my Morimoto retro-quik projectors. Followed the write up by Gaterose. Taking the headlights apart was straight forward. Baked @ 250 for 8 minutes to separate and again to reseal. The wiring had me stumped. I'm blaming it on the beer, but I couldn't figure it out. Gave up at 1:30am. After a few hours of sleep and coffee, I realized I had the wiring for the ballast backwards. :ybrick:
I can't wait to see how these look at night.

Finally mounted my mag light again I've had it in my Tacoma the FJ now this
4 runner just took me a year and two minutes to installlayball: and my buddy over on Fjcruiserforums.com got me started on the Velcro patches.

I also had to make adjustments to get the bumper mounts to line up. 5minutes with a drill and it lined up. Then trim for hitch.

You should have one more of those straight extensions. Lift the rear gate and feed it in that little hole by the latch on the bottom and turn. haha

Usually not a fan of plastidip, but I did the grill and think it turned out pretty good. Also put a clear protection film on the roof to protect the paint from the gobi fairing.

yea i got it
but i did not know what the curved piece was for and it was not fitting through that hole
its ok i will never have to use that again

so i am not real happy with the way i ran he wiring to the tiregate license plate light and for backup camera
but i see no other way to do it
i just zip tied the wire loom to tiregate
i will look for better options

so my lca alignment cams are all frozen
SHOCKING
so it looks like that has to be next on my list
today i got wheel studs welded into tiregate
ran running lights to the new license plate location
ran a reverse power wire for the second rear view camera "the first one will be locked by tiregate now"
did inner and outer tre's
got the front hidden hitch installed
and wire wheeled most of the frame and painted it
this frame is in great shape...minimal rust, mostly just some surface rust on the weld joints.....

so much more work to do......

I will second that motion one bad@ss 4runner love the set up.
