Man, I would be waiting everyday at the front door. I'm going with a Baja rack but not saying Gobis aren't good, they are engineered very well.

Got my OE 2014 Trail Wheels (mine actually came off an Fj) installed and wrapped in 265/65/17 BFG Rugged Terrains. Took off the running boards too.

i have them in 255/70/18 and love them. they have great grip on the road and trail.

They werent but i did the brakes on my Land Cruiser so figured do them both at same time like i do all the other usual maintenance stuff. Easier to track. Stands were behind front wheels on frame.op2:

Finally got my Gobi ladder in! Waited only a week, but the weird thing was that I never got a confirmation email. Weird.

Going to install tomorrow, this is a pic of what its going to look like.

Today: Not a damn thing.

However, tonight I continue my LED turn signal mirror cover installation. Been contemplating installing a front camera, but still not sure what monitor to use (could be a Gentex mirror with monitor built in or rig up something that ties in with the NAV screen................. still doing some homework on that one).

Those are probably a good idea to get. I'll install it and see how it works. If it's really bugging me I'll buy the new struts

I just cut the wires and soldered from the originals to these ones. Sounds great to me, a ton more clarity and really makes the center channel liven up.

did you include that thicker part of the wire harness (im guessing it some sort of bass blocker?)?

the wiring capacitors(i believe) maybe a resistor? i left them both. I've read on the door speakers if you cut those out and wire around them its louder but i have no problem as it is now.

Because I was so excited about installing the Ladder, I failed to read the part where the base plate needs to be 1" 5/8th away from the black seal on the roof...

Well lets just say 3M tape is REALLY strong...

My dad and I were able to get the plate off and move it to the right spot. There is about 1/4 of tape not present on the left part of the plate, but with everything bolted down, the ladder isn't going anywhere.

Mine wont lift without help anymore. It would be really nice to get some new struts with more power.

Those ones posted are for a 5th gen I think. Not sure if they will work.

Experience is key. Try 1 teaspoon of baby shampoo in 16 Oz of water to give it a little slip until you use a old credit card to squeeze out the water to smooth the surface out.

I would have traded you my plain dash for you granite any day all day. So you could wrap it in wood.
