What did you do with your 4runner today?

got my cv axle replaced, they put in a duralast remanufactured part, spent 175 out the door for parts and labor.

Uh oh! Another black eye for Light Racing! I'm starting to think that my 4Runner will be parked until I replace mine!

Sorry to hear about your trail damage, but glad that you made it out.

I looked at Spring Creek on traildamage.com and it looks pretty brutal!

I haven't heard anything bad about light racing ( haven't looked )
Spring creek is not anything like red elephant and I did that twice with no problems! It is all up hill to the point my gas gauge read empty with almost 3/4 tank

I don't know yet I will post when I find out what broke but it sounds like it was going to fall out at any time. I had to do what I could to get out including winching and being pulled

[MENTION=75144]crashman[/MENTION] which light racing iteration did you have? They supposedly fixed that breaking at the weld issue - how many washers were there per arm? supposedly with the inner washers the arms were binding on flex.

Installed a set of +06 Factory LED taillights after dinner. This is seriously one of the easiest upgrades, literally took me 20 min (usually everything takes me twice as long it seems). I upgraded the reverse lights to LED while I was in there. Love how they look!

are the led reverse lights brighter?

I looked into the LT Racing UCA, but I ended up getting Total Chaos UCA instead. The TC arms cost more, but they are worth it. The ones I ordered look way stronger than the LT Racing UCA. I am super happy with the ones I got. I would recommend the TC UCA all day long!!!!!

I'm a day late, but drove my 4Runner to the local Toyota dealer yesterday to test drive a 2015 4Runner TRD Pro. It was awesome, and I really wanted to trade my wife's car for it, however, I couldn't talk myself into spending $43k.

Got new tires & wheels in the other day.
Cooper AT3 275/65/18 Load Range C's on Raceline Raptor 18's.
Cornfed 3-2 kit came in last week.
Still need UCA's and end links and I think I can get this show on the road.

I had bought a set of 17" Raceline Monsters a few weeks ago then decided I really wanted to move up to 18's,
so I sent them back and got the Raptors.
I like the Raptors much more and although it was a PITA to send them back, I'm glad I did now.
Discount Tire was very cool about it, no problems there.
Both Jason Burtman and Discount Tire shipped very quickly, no problems.
Hope to have everything installed and lifted within a month.

So got a few things done today.

T4R decals came in yesterday so slapped those on and they look great! thanks [MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION]

I ended up ordering the Smittybilt universal seat covers in OD green and I really like the functionality of it. Flashlight, knife, compass, even mounted my walkies.

Also slapped on an Oasis sticker that I just got in. Currently my favorite band. (Todays music sucks!)

After that, ran the runner straight to what-a-burger.

So ya, pretty good day.

How is your cb cable ran? Is it in the rear hatch? Can you snap a pic of it when you get a chance.

You know, I was debating this last night. I think the LED's are brighter, but the halogen puts out more light. I'll have to try it tonight

i have mine roof mounted but this is how i ran it into the truck. just cut a hole in the boot and pushed the wire in and then put liquid electrical tape over the hole
