Used the 4Runner to help my buddy move about $20K worth of snakes. Took 2 trips with the 4Runner and his Rav4 packed to the gills. Snapped a couple pics

My view from the drivers seat first trip, the cages literally were touching my dome light

Front to back, second trip. The blue rubbermaids also were full of snakes

Hey guys looking for lift ideas..... thinking Icon stage 5 tubular?..... what do you think up this system what else is out there? kind of want an all inclusive kit.... and i would rather buy it nice then twice.......

If you get any icon all inclusive kit I think anyone will say it's going to be nice! especially for the money. Toytec has an all inclusive kit that runs about 1100 I think? But I've never seen it in person on driven in a 4R with Toytec. Some say they're amazing and some say they're glorified bilstein 5100 kits but you'd have to ask the people that have those kits. Try searching for the kits you want first.

Edit: You probably need to name your needs as well. Heavy off-roading, rock crawling, dessert jump hahaha sky's the limit

to be honest I am very new to this, but I want to get serious! I want to get through some tough trails, but crawling wont come for a while. I will probably be running through some trails with some speed though. I don't want to spend 2K in parts though and replace them later, so I think going with an adjustable and rebuildable shock will cost me more up front but save me in the long run....? What do I all need for 3" lift I know I need coils springs and UCA up front.... is that it? do I need the rear adjustable trailing arm right away?

to be honest I am very new to this, but I want to get serious! I want to get through some tough trails, but crawling wont come for a while. I will probably be running through some trails with some speed though. I don't want to spend 2K in parts though and replace them later, so I think going with an adjustable and rebuildable shock will cost me more up front but save me in the long run....? What do I all need for 3" lift I know I need coils springs and UCA up front.... is that it? do I need the rear adjustable trailing arm right away?

Read the suspesnion thread on the first page of the 4th gen section to bring you up to speed. I popular lift is 3" in front and 2" in back otherwise known as a 3/2. If you wan't to do it right from the beginning skip the spacers. Doing it how you say you'd like to will leave you with need front coils and shocks, rear coils and shocks, and Upper control arms(UCAs). As long as you get those things(my opinion) it's doing it right. Mixing and matching done right can save money and still provide a good ride. Would I like a full Icon suspension? YES. but in reality I don't need it and don't want to fork the cash over. OME coils and moog coils can provide you with lift and shock options are endless. Also it helps to know what you're going to add on to it, like steel armor or any significant weight that will make it sag. That was you can get the right coils from the start. my poor .02 cents

That's what I needed to know. I didn't want to spend 4K on the Icon system if it was over kill. what about this Camburg FJ 2wd/4wd 07-14 2.5 Performance Kit i would just need rear springs half the cost of the icon wont have remote reservoirs, but i will be honest i just wanted them for the bing factor
