Last night I pulled my truck in the garage (it's raining here).

Started to mock up my sliders.

Did the dif breather mod.

And I decided to upgrade my back up lights (again.)
I plan on doing the remote/ constant on backup light thing soon.

New light on left, old light on right.

Had to get a chip repaired in the windshield... dead-center in my driver's view. Insurance covers it but it still sucks to see that small blemish on a brand new 2015 ride.

I received this.......a refurbished rim to match my other 4...

...to go with this....brand new 255/75/17 BFG KM that I picked up from Craigslist....

and now just awaiting the TPMS sensor from Amazon to put it all together to be my spare.

wheelsandcaps.com for $169 shipped. You can get them for $150 on ebay, but I went this route because it was all cleaned up/refurbished for $19 more. I'd been looking for about 4 months for a single rim on craigslist and here, but no luck.

It was a dime-sized bullseye so I had them repair it rather than break the factory seal and replace the whole windshield. It leaves a small blemish in the glass but they guarantee it won't crack and spread.

My family has been driving Toyota's of all models for years. Back in 1998, my wife got a Corolla CE. That car's OEM glass was the worst ever as we replaced it three times in 15 months. The insurance company threatened to drop us. It was not long after the third one that they announced it was defective manufacturing and they replaced it with an aftermarket screen. No more breaks! I'm hoping the glass in this Trail is not the same issue!

Oh yeah I've seen the silver, and I finally saw yours from my dorm. Heard the exhaust note through our broken window. What exhaust is that?

Took my Ebay key blanks to walmart and had them cut....for free!! Also, installed my Scion 1819. Very pleased with this HU, bought it for $85 and it came with all cables!! Didn't know this until i received it, now have to return the cables i bought. Pics to come.

It's just a flow master super 44 with the tip curved 90 degrees to exit from the side

How much cutting of the bumper is required to fit the LED cubes behind the reflectors like that? Considering doing something similar if it doesn't involve too much cutting.

im gonna find that out this week, i haven't started on the physical install as i just haven't had the time. i expect it to be minimal and largely dependent on how i aim the lights
