What did you do with your 4runner today?

Holy cow! That's insane! I can't even imagine being in snow like that!

Hahaha yeah man! It's probably close to 3' at this point that I snowblowed through. Then had to carry/roll a complete tire+rim (used to be [MENTION=98468]BigNuge[/MENTION]'s spare) and 3 rims and 3 tires, plus the bumper from my back yard about 350-400' away each way

Now I'm gonna put my tires on the rims and have them balanced in the morning or something.

Got about 10 hours put into my FJ Coil/TRD Taco strut/1" spacer font lift....

Holy f-ing rust. Sway bar bolts, lower strut nut/bolt were fine, but the 3 nuts on the top hat were a major PITA. ended up stripping one, cut off 2 of 3 nuts to get strut out, and that was just one side. Other side should be much faster because I'm just going to cut them from the beginning instead of wrecking my back again. Will be replacing with all new hardware early tomorrow.

Hopefully can wrap up the front in another 3-4 hours, then get the rear coils and Billsteins installed in another 2.

I like dark purple, I'd paint my truck Plum Crazy. I also like purple because of the ALZ foundation. I've had 2 grandparents with Alzheimer's and I'm a supporter of their research to try to prevent other families from having to deal with this in the future.

Only offered in 07, just like voodoo blue (the really bright blue) and yellow I believe.

It's a color, which I don't care about... It's manual, it's low mileage, the body is pristine, and it's in my price range. It could be hot pink for all I care.

My mom has the same color, base model though. It has NONE of the goodies in it that make an FJ an FJ. I hate that truck. It is next to useless even with great tires on it. Not enough power offroad, rides like a lumber wagon, back seat is useless, can't imagine why anyone would ever want to trade a comfy and capable 4Runner for an FJ..... I agree. I'm happy for him, he is going to love that FJ, it's pretty much everything he has been looking for. 4Runner was just a "stepping stone" for him. The stepping stone for me was my 1994 Toyota HiLux 4door. Loved that thing. But it's long gone now. Got a 1997 Surf after that, and then another after that............

And I don't mind it.

I said my mom's was useless. It has nothing. No locker, no atrac, no cruise control, no extra lights, no gauges, nothing! It has no articulation, it's useless. I've seen some badass fj's, but hers isn't one of them....
